I'm so proud of this guy. He struggled in the beginning with not eating for almost 2 months after hatching and then I assist fed him for a bit. Not he's taking a meal on his own every 5 days to get him up to the size he should be. What an awesome little paradox banana 100% het clown boy he is!

This guy just didn't want to eat. I started assist feeding him fat mice fuzzies for 5 feedings where I just needed to get it at least 3/4 of the way in his mouth and then he would swallow the rest and that was promising. Then I switched to rat pinks because he just wasn't gaining any weight with the mice. After two rat pinks, he finally decided to eat on his own today... so proud of this little! He's a Banana paradox 100% het Clown. I'm so happy right now that he figured it out!

On May 4th of this year I put 6 random males from different colonies that were all 6-8 weeks old together, so all born about March. I've had all 6 together since then and I was just pulling these 3 guys out so I could show a friend the Tan gene, that makes their belly orange and I thought all of you would like to see them too. There's 3 more boys that are tri color or pied too. But this is an experiment I did because so many people were adamant about saying you can never put males together because they would kill each other. My lines of mice are very mellow, so I put it to the test. 9 months old now and they are all happy together and they are even in my rodent room with a colony of females right next to them. I'll put a gif of each in the comments to show their belly....
