Get ready for your next Rally trial at Happy Dogs. We've made some changes to the format for our drop-ins on Sundays.

We are fortunate to have two rings at Happy Dogs and we are going to use them to help you practice a course dedicated to the class you will be competing in.

Happy Dogs values Rally enthusiasts and understands that they need a place to train between classes so we set-aside time for them to train in our rings twice a week. We also have several Rally Classes on Thursday evenings.

Kathy's Rally Teamwork classes are open for registration. She's offering a Beginner's Class and an Advanced class this term. Classes start December 12th.

Obedience classes will resume in January with some new course offerings.

The power has been restored at Happy Dogs. We will reopen for member training tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Group classes will resume on Wednesday at regular times. Thanks for your patience.

Happy Dogs survived Hurricane Helene with little damage. We lost one of the big trees in the side yard and another small one next to the driveway. They will be cleared away tomorrow together with all the other branches that fell on the property. No big deal - both of these trees were slated for removal over the winter.

Happy Dogs will be closed until the power is restored. Please "like" and "follow" this page to learn when we are able to reopen for member training and classes.

In the meantime, please keep our members and friends in Western N.C. in your thoughts. They've lost so much. Climate change is real and hit hard and close to home this time.

Please note the following changes to the Rally Drop-in schedule on September 15th.

11:00 - 11:45 a.m. (Ring #1) Novice/Intermediate
11:00 - 11:45 a.m. (Ring #2) Advanced
11:45 - 1:00 p.m. (Ring #1) Excellent
11:45 - 1:30 p.m. (Ring #2) Masters

We hope this schedule will give everyone an opportunity to practice a course for the Rally class in which they are entered at the GKC Rally trials next week. Please join us on Sunday from 11 - 2:00 p.m.
