I have this Cob size Horze Black Dressage Bridle for sale. Its the Clermont noseband(rolled) and browband, then the Horse Sommerset headstall and bit hangers. So it's 2 bridles put together. This is a very elegant mare who would be a great horse for an experience AA to continue to develop. Finesse is ready to show second level and is schooling aspects of third. Her adjustable and cadence trot is an highlight. She has good balance in the canter and a real talent to collect. Finesse has been to multiple shows, including regionals at 1st level in 2023 where she placed top 10 in a very competitive professional class. She is incredibly pretty, and always draws the eye wherever she goes because of her captivating presence!

Veterinarian-owned USDF Gold Level breeding farm ISO interns for 2024 season.

Live-in positions offered at 150 acre facility in Rougemont NC (approximately 40 minutes from NCSU). In addition to almost all of our basic veterinary work, we perform the majority of our equine reproductive work in-house.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to observe and actively participate in the breeding of quality horses and ponies from pre-season evaluation through conception and onward. This season we are expecting 15 foals.

Opportunities to experience and practice under vet supervision:

- Pre-breeding evaluations including uterine culture and cytology
- Assisting with tracking and charting cycles via ultrasound
- Management of cycles (short cycling, induction of ovulation, uterine infusions, lavage, etc)
- Protocols and techniques of artificial insemination with both cooled and frozen semen
- Assisting with foal watch and attending foalings
- Assisting with care of mares and foals (neonates through weaning)

Additional learning opportunities include:

• Assisting with radiographs
• Assisting with vaccinations and blood draws
• Wound care
• Bandaging
• Safe handling practices

Our farm is also home to sheep, goats, alpaca, and cattle. Opportunities to assist in their care are also available.

This position also assists in the general care of our horses, both day-to-day and in emergent situations. Candidates must have some horse experience, be dedicated to quality care, and adaptable with a strong passion for farm life.

Non-smoking, 18+ years.
Compensation:

2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment + weekly stipend, basic utilities included (electric, water, Starlink wi-fi).
