Update- the trap is off.
The dog is hospitalized and they’re managing pain and giving her leg a few days to respond before deciding where to amputate in hopes that they can do a prosthetic from ankle down.
I’ll update again once they update me 🩷

Our dog sitter has pulled off a miracle while we were out of town. Brian saw a post shared with about a dog who has had a trap on its foot for almost 2 weeks. We’ve all been worked up since. Celina Fox found the dogs & met another lady at the location to set a live trap this afternoon & she caught both this dog & the one with it.
Our vet (Southside Pet Clinic) says it’s very likely going to need amputation and I’m posting this because the care is going to be expensive. If anyone would like to help us in helping this baby, we would greatly appreciate you. I’ll have an estimate in the morning & we by no means expect any help, but it is going to be a long road of recovery (if the infection isn’t too bad already). Sending your prayers and good thoughts will be more than enough because we’re definitely going to need them.
We’re on our way in now & will update first thing in the morning.

Let’s talk about pups going home and meeting their older siblings, & how sweet is this?

So many older dogs are annoyed or tend to ignore the new pup in the home, but this introduction couldn’t have been more successful! Love this for these boys & their sweet mama 🩷

Some people are worried about keeping the white coats clean, but as far as looks, a white chocolate/white is one of the prettiest colors when all groomed. The blue eyes don’t hurt either lol. What a handsome fella!

We have a young retiree. She has just not adjusted well to this life and is unfortunately not very good at making friends with the other females.
We want a fenced yard & loving 🏡 for her! She’s only right around 2 & was born to be someone’s Velcro baby. 🥲🩷
