Beyond sad to share that Echo was not successfully bred on this cycle, so no puppies this year 😭😭😭

We hope to be able to try it again next time around, but unsure when we can expect to have puppies at this time. 😭

A sad, saddddd empty freezer, but I still couldn’t be happier.

We have a couple of whole chickens, chicken backs, and some drumsticks left, then we are sold out for the season!!

THANK YOUUUU to everyone who chooses us to purchase your chicken from. We love hearing your wonderful reviews. We will have more fresh pasture raised chicken in the spring 2025. If you’d like a whole chicken, backs, or drumsticks, contact me asap before they’re gone!

Echo had an ultrasound today and it appears that she is in fact going to be a mama in another month or so!! We are beyond excited.

We are gathering a list of families that are interested in adding a new golden retriever puppy to their family this year. If you’d like to be added to that list, please let me know and I will keep you updated as we get closer to their arrival. 💜

This message really means so much to me. We work very hard to ensure we are providing the highest quality of meat for our family and other local families who choose to purchase chicken from us. We care about our chickens and what they eat. We have adjusted and tweaked our feeding and pasturing practices to measure the size of our birds, differences in taste, and the cost of raising these birds to be able to provide without breaking the bank. It’s no secret that buying pasture raised, local chicken is more expensive than buying that giant pack from the nearest bulk food store, but the quality of the product you’re buying from us is unmatched.

If you haven’t tried the chicken raised on our farm, you’re missing out and should probably place an order today 😉 You won’t regret it…

If you aren’t local to us, I encourage you to find a farm that is local to you and give their chicken a try. I’m not just bragging up our chicken- pasture raised chicken truly is so much better as long as the farmer is raising their birds properly to produce a similar quality chicken. It’s insanely different than that taste-less, rubbery chicken that you will find on the shelves in your grocery store.

Even after selling quite a few packs of chicken drumsticks in our last sale, we still have an abundance of them in the freezer.

So, it’s time for another sale!!! (And a little cheaper this time too!!)

Chicken drumsticks, $3 per pack! Each pack is approximately 1.5 pounds or slightly less. Buy 10 or more packs for $2.50 each. We have a whopping 63 packs available at this price! Come get themmmm!!

Edit to add: will also be looking for an XL whelping box and other whelping supplies if anyone has any laying around that they want to sell.

I’ll be in need of towels / small blankets if anyone has any that they’d like to get rid of. They don’t need to be super nice- they’ll be used for dogs/puppies. 🐶 let me know if you have any you’d like to gift to Echo. ☺️

Echo is starting her heat cycle!

We’re hoping for a successful breeding and then healthy pups in a few months!! Let us know if you may be interested in a puppy. We don’t know prices yet or obviously how many there will be etc, but will make a list of those with serious interest to keep in contact with as we navigate the breeding, whelping, and puppy picking process 🩷

⭐️Sale sale sale!!! ⭐️

Our next group of broilers goes in next week, so we need to clear the freezer from the last group! We have tons of chicken drumsticks available from our June 2024 group of broilers. This meat is still VERY fresh, but due to lack of freezer space, now is your chance to $SAVE$ !

$4/pack. Each pack is between 1-2 pounds. These drumsticks are super meaty and delicious! We have around 50 packs available.

A quick post as I’ve received multiple messages from folks that are requesting dates for their chickens to be processed.

While I appreciate you all sharing our name and our farm, we do NOT butcher our own chickens here on site, nor do we butcher anyone else’s chickens. We raise chickens for pets, eggs, and meat, but we are not set up to process our own birds on site, let alone anyone else’s.

The only local licensed processor that I am personally familiar with is Buckeye Poultry in Shiloh, though I also know they are booked for most, if not all of the summer.
