Morning feedings always bring surprises. Ernie is classic for getting scraped such as this pictured below. Currently Ernie got stung by bees that caused an allergic reaction. That reaction caused an infection in his leg and groin. He's on 30 zyrtek a day and 30 antibiotics. These pills have to be crushed and put in his feed or forced with syringe

This morning, I searched 20 minutes for a hammer because I broke my pill crusher to crush these pills and could not find one. I have 4

I tell you this because everything at the farm has a PLACE. if you borrow it PUT IT BACK

if you bring a drink to the farm please be responsible and finish it and throw it away. Please don't bring food to the barn I've seen two large rats in 5 days. I'm not a fan

If you open a gate LATCH IT please

This is not intended to sound like a rant please help take care of the horses by providing a safe place to live. Thank you

To all visiting the farm the new driveway starts tomorrow. They will be digging and laying stone. Please be safe when pulling in and going between barns

When visiting horses inside or out please ensure all gates and stall doors are latched. We've got some crafty horse that know how to lift the gates off of the nubs! Please use all precautions

We made the tough decision today to give this sophisticated lady her wings.

If you knew this horse she had the mare stare but a heart of gold

I was blessed to care for her for the last few years of her life. Today she decided she was tired. It's my job to listen as hard as that is, I heard you Star

We were blessed to have our annual visit from Troop 494. We love to see how much everyone has grown and all the changes in the group
