As we head into the holiday season, we would love to announce our annual holiday drive🎁❄️! This year we have partnered with two local nonprofit organizations, and , to help raise resources for them! The drive starts today and will end at the beginning of January.

This is open to the Wellington Community, but our clients who bring in 3 items or more will receive $10 CREDIT on your account per donation! *Offer available once per day*

Hello friends! Today a gentleman came in and dropped off this lovely but lost green cheek conure! Does anyone recognize this little guy? They've been fully flighted and they still have their ID band, although we haven't been able to read it fully.

We had this sweet kitten come in a few weeks ago for a, "bump" that was steadily getting bigger! After some investigating, Dr. Rich and Mya soon discovered it was a bot fly that had decided to live underneath this tiny kitten's skin!

Dr. Rich and Mya were able to remove the bot fly and gave this kitten so much love. Way to go team! 🌟🐾

Meet Monkey!

She is so brave and well-behaved! She is not like the other monkeys who jumps off the bed 😉🐵 However she did break her leg! Ouchie!

With weekly bandage changes and strict exercise activity, she has slowly making progress. She is making her speedy recovery and will be back to her puppy days soon!

Our Story

Wellington Veterinary Hospital opened in 1999 on the west end of Cleveland Avenue where The Cakery currently resides. Our clients have amazed and awed us over the years, accepting our help and trusting us with their very special furry family members. From the beginning, we have been committed to bringing the best veterinary care.

Our clients are our friends and the WVH team has always gone above and beyond for them. As the Wellington community has grown, so have we to make sure that we are always available. We eventually outgrew our "first home" and moved into our current building on 6th street in 2008 which allowed us to expand our services.

Today, our community has access to veterinary care six days a week from a team of four doctors and more than 30 team members right here in Wellington.

Now 20 years later, our mission is still the same: Here you will be listened to, cared for and valued because you are why we do what we do!
