Valerie has been passionate about horses since she started riding at the age of four. By fourteen, she was already exercising Thoroughbred racehorses in Orsk. Her equestrian journey took a significant turn in 2006 when she moved to the Dominican Republic and began showjumping in 2008 under the guidance of Swiss Grand Prix rider Marcos Straight.

In 2010, Valerie delved into Natural Horsemanship and its combination with classical training methods. Her pursuit of better understanding horses led her to the Animal Dynamics Institute in Gainesville in 2011, where she became a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Subsequently, she moved to Maryland and trained under Alexander Shcherba (http://horsetimes.ru/en/posts/history/alexander_shcherba_in_sport_we_are_interested_in_the_winner_and_his_potential_rival_when_the_team_is/ ) a distinguished 5 times USSR showjumping champion and phenomenal dressage trainer.

She has competed successfully in A and AA circuits across Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, up to 1.20m, and has had the privilege of learning from esteemed Olympic figures like Joe Fargis (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Fargis) and Pierre Jolicour (https://www.chronofhorse.com/article/olympic-trainer-pierre-jolicoeur-pj-saddles-gives-back-junior-rider/)

Valerie's dedication to equine health and performance saw her continuously training in the equine veterinary field as an Equine Vet Technician.

In 2014, Valerie embraced a new challenge in harness racing, earning her Driver/Trainer license and racing horses in several states NJ, NY, PA, MA, FL. Her training career flourished under the mentorship of George Sholty, and in 2021, she had the opportunity to work with Swedish Legend- Ake Svanstedt, one of the most successful trainers and drivers worldwide. Valerie has trained and exercised notable horses, including Southwind Tyrion, and Jiggy Jog S and even sat behind 2021 Habletonian winner - Captain Corey.

Committed to equine biomechanics, Valerie has attended numerous international conferences and courses to enhance her expertise. In 2020, she founded Equine Health & Fitness, a business dedicated to improving the well-being and performance of horses across various disciplines. Based in South Florida since 2021, her business also offers consignment services to help owners showcase and campaign their horses at the prestigious Wellington Showgrounds and surrounding areas.
