Looking back on a wonderful week at the !🌻🐴 It was a beautiful event with tough competition. We were pleased with our younger group of horses stepping up in international classes and our students, who put in great rounds throughout the week.
•Quentin & Jimmy Judge 🤡 (going to have to do an FEI name change soon 🤪) jumped a super clear in the 2* Wolffer Estate GP Qualifier.
• Medarco 🤠 jumped his first 5* classes and finished with a great round in the 1.50m speed.
• Zorro⚡️jumped clear in the 5* Grand Prix Qualifier and jumped his biggest track to date in the Grand Prix.
• & HH Motown 🎶were clear in their two Medium AO Jumper classes. Thrilled with this 8 year old at an impressive venue!
• and her brand new mount, Fast Day VDL 💨also jumped two clear rounds in the Medium AO Jumpers. We’re excited about this new partnership!
• had a stellar week. Her hunters, HH Himself & HH Eagle Scout 🦅took home top ribbons including a win over fences! G-Delilah 🌸finished 2nd in the High Adult Jumper Classic and her other mount, Dolitaire 💄also had top three placings in the division.
• .mitchell11 really impressed us this week! Straight from school she jumped clear double clear on both her mounts in the High AO Jumpers on Friday to finish top 12 on both horses. On Sunday she also jumped double clear in a tough High AO Classic to finish 8th. 🤩

We’re so very excited to share that we’ve closed on our new farm in Pound Ridge, NY. Formally known as Birdstone Farm, this property is 62 acres of beautiful land right next door to the 4,300 acre Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. We have some renovation and building projects on the horizon, but for now we are thrilled to be in this beautiful neighborhood where the horses can relax and have plenty of paddock time! This week marks a bittersweet end to our charter with as we wish her all the best with her move to The Netherlands to attend Maastricht University. Over the past two and half years Emmanuelle’s riding has developed exponentially. Together with a wonderful group of horses and supportive parents we reached and exceeded goals Emmanuelle set for herself and had a lot a fun along the way. From a 3* Spruce Meadows Grand Prix (in arguably the hardest ring in North America) to a podium finish in the LGCT NY 2* GP to an incredibly consistent winter season; we’re just so proud of you! Emmanuelle, it’s been a pleasure to watch you grow from a timid junior into a confident international competitor! We’ll always be cheering you on.

Thanks to 11 Old Stagecoach for eighteen wonderful years. We were proud of what you became under Jeannie & Hunter’s vision and grateful for all the beloved memories we made within your beautiful grounds.

Since Hunter’s passing you have felt a little empty, as it was his love and passion for this particular place that seemed to keep it most alive.

We’re wishing it’s new tenants many years of enjoyment, beauty & happy horses and we’re very excited for a fresh start at our new location in Pound Ridge. More to come on this new venture as we get settled in.

With our winter season a wrap we are reminded once again that when you combine a dedicated and talented team of horsemen & women with a wonderful group of horses, great things happen!

We’re very proud of our team and horses this winter and would like to highlight a few standout performances.

Caroline & our own homebred, HH Cucumber were Reserve Circuit champions in the 7 year old Jumpers with three wins and multiple other top ribbons.

Emmanuelle Greenberg had a standout season on four horses. She had multiple podium finishes with Habitat & Dublin in the High AO Jumpers, ribbons in the U25 and 2* grand prixs on J’Adore, top 3 finishes in the National Grand Prix series on Copin’s Boy and even jumped her first CSI 4* classes.

Ana Lisa Carr had fantastic performances on all of her horses. She had class wins and championships in the jumper ring with Carst, G-Delilah, Calgary and Classic Fly. She also came together beautifully with her hunter, HH Eagle Scout!

Hayley Mercer and her own Crown Royal finished 2nd in the High AO Classic and then competed to multiple clear rounds and top ribbons in the U25 classes. Their winter culminated with a qualification for the U25 final and an impressive round in the national grand prix.

Sophia Mitchell and her new partner, Elfy put in multiple clear rounds in the Medium Amateur division before moving up to the High AOs. They finished the season with a win in their first ever High AO Classic!

You might notice you don’t see a Caitlin Creel on this list! Apparently working full time and living in Manhattan did not leave much time for showing in Florida this winter! We can’t wait to get back to business with CC and the amazing HH Malle Babbe this summer!

Last and most importantly, thank you to our incredible team at Double H. To reach the end of fourteen weeks of competition still smiling, still trying their best and having a lot of fun along the way is rare. This group shows up because they love the horses, the process and the sport, which makes us feel incredibly lucky to work with such a group.

As we set off on a new season, we are thrilled to welcome Claire Stevenson to the Double H team! Claire has extensive experience in nearly every area of the equine industry. We are looking forward to having Claire help keep Double H Farm run efficiently, effectively and with a lot of fun along the way. Also welcome to Nan, who has made short work of finding his place at the top of the very long canine roster at Double H Farm. 🐶

It has taken us a few days to process what an amazing afternoon last Sunday was. HH Azur, a horse who has brought so much joy into all of our lives, proved once again at the age of 16 that she still one of the best in the world. Mclain and Annie’s partnership has taken them to the top of the sport many times before but it is safe to say that to many watching, the class had already been won before Annie stepped in the ring as last to go in the jump off. Mclain’s expert riding and Annie’s never ending grit made magic happen. This would in no way have been possible without the amazing team of people behind Annie and Mclain. We are sure that Mr. Harrison lit up a cigar somewhere above watching one of his favorites show the world that she’s still got it. Thank you everyone involved in this amazing horse’s career!

Looking back on a fantastic weekend for our team at . Ana Lisa Carr, Caitlin Creel and Emmanuelle Greenberg all had impressive rounds over three days on Governor’s Island.

Caitlin Creel jumped clear rounds on a new ride and one of our favorites, HH Earley. She also got back into the 2* level after over a year’s break finishing with 4 faults in Sunday’s 2* Grand Prix with the wonderful, Consistent.

Ana Lisa Carr continues to push herself (and maybe be pushed by Quentin 🤣) up the ladder. She took two brand new horses to her first FEI competition and ended her week jumping clear on both in the 2* small tour Grand Prix! It was thrilling to watch her succeed at a new challenge. We are just a few months into our partnership so watch out 5* next year 🤣! (Don’t faint, Ana Lisa).

Emmanuelle had a huge week. She jumped clear rounds on her new mount, J’Adore ter Putte and culminated by jumping double clear and finishing second in the 2* Grand Prix with Dublin van Overis! This month marks two years since we started working with Emmanuelle. It that time she has gone from just starting to jump 1.40 to being less then half a second away from winning a tough 2* Grand Prix. We are extremely proud and thrilled with Emmanuelle’s riding, progression and dedication to the sport. We also are once again in awe of the amazing Dublin van Overis. Horses like Dublin are few and far between and we know how lucky we are to be in his life! Thank you our team at home and at the show for making weekends like these possible!

Last week at the Masters Annie & McLain won the 1.60m Tourmaline Oil Cup and jumped clear in the $3M Grand Prix to finish 7th. While the results are incredible, we’re just so grateful to Annie for all she continues to give at age 16! A testament to a wonderful mare with a huge heart and the superstar team behind her! It gives us a lot of joy to see her thriving this year and brings a lot of emotion to think of HH cheering her & McLain on from above.

Thank you McLain, Lee, Virg, Erica, Lauren & all team Castle Hill for doing what you do best. It’s an honor & a lot of fun to be a small part of it. And thank you, Annie, you’re something very special. 💙👑💙

Quite possibly the highlight of the week was today’s grooming class! The Double H Farm team took first, second and fourth (also we are going to claim an honorary third place because it was HH Moonshine .g.downey). 1st place went to Jo Taylor and Dublin Van Overis, 2nd to Brandon Rzeszuto ( ’) and HH Einstein de Hus and 3rd to Christian Cordoba and E-Wally! We are so appreciative of our Double H Family and the countless hours of work they put into making these horses look and feel their best. Thank you for recognizing the most important members of our team!

Thank you, for a great week upstate. Lake Placid was always a special place to both Cayce and Quentin as they grew up. From the experience we gained in the show ring to the friendships we made along the way. Seeing our children, Rhodes and June, play, have fun, and even compete (🤯) in the same place we did as children is really something special. This week was made even more special by the great results of our friends and clients; & . We are now looking forward to a few weeks break before we gear up for our second half of summer and fall shows.

Week one of our Spruce Meadows summer tour is in the books! ☑️ We had a great week where all of our horses jumped clear rounds in the notoriously tough, All Canada Ring. Highlights included HH Zorro Z 🌟 jumping a beautiful, clear round in the Grand Prix qualifier, Emmanuelle Greenberg qualifying for and jumping in her first 3* Grand Prix with the ever amazing, Claire de Lune M 👸🏼 and getting to have our old friend, Chuy back with us for a few weeks (photo 1) 💜! Spruce Meadows has always been one of our favorite venues and we are thrilled to be back trying to answer the questions asked of us in these historic grass rings. On to week two- as long as we don’t get washed away with the Calgary rain! ☔️ 🐎 🏆

The first week back in 🇨🇦 this summer is in the books! Such a fun week for Quentin and Emmanuelle!

- Emmanuelle took home a podium finish with Claire in the U25 GP 🥉 as well as a top-12 finish with Owen! She also put in a super round in the 2* GP with Dublin
- Nico finished 4th in the 5* Winning Round 🐇 after he was very polite in letting Quentin dismount safely after an unlucky broken rein in the 5* Speed class
- The best guy Zorro jumped incredibly in the 5* GP ⚡️
- We were very excited to have HH Filounis back in action after a break from the ring this past winter!

An amazing two weeks at for our team, capped off by an incredible win from our girl HH Azur in the $200k Empire State Grand Prix CSI4* with .official 🏆 Other highlights include -

- crushed her status with her two horses, Friar M & HH Malle Babbe, closing up Week 2 with a Classic win and Reserve Champion honors in the Mediums!

- put in great rounds with Moncler to finish 3rd in the Medium Jr/AO Speed!

- became a true member of the HH Qualido fan club, after finishing 3rd in the $25k National Prix in a very competitive field.

- continued to get to know HH Mesandro PS in the show ring!

- And upcoming.. super excited to be sending Quentin and Emmanuelle’s horses off to 🇨🇦 this week!

💜 P A S T C H A M P I O N S💜 The second in our series highlighting some of our most special horses is the one and only, HH Dark de la Hart. Dark was and forever will be one of our favorites. He was full of spirit and a real fighter. His bucking and antics at the end of his rounds gained him a lot of fans. But, his willingness to help Quentin every time they entered the ring made him one of the greats. Together he and Quentin won Grand Prix, Nation’s Cups, speed classes and Derbies. Dark is currently enjoying his retirement on Madden Mountain with some of his best buds. #HHDarkdelahart

What an pleasure it was to see two of the most valued members of Double H Farm honored with the groom’s award today at the USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals. Juan Aguilar and Marcos Martinez were selected thanks to their unequaled care and presentation of HH Eagle Scout this week- which is no small feat in a field of near 90 of the country’s best turned out hunters. This award is given in memory of Alberto Ramirez, who was a stalwart member of Finally Farm for decades. Thank you to Juan, Marcos and the behind-the-scenes army that keep all of our horses feeling their best!

We were thrilled with Scout today competing in his third-ever derby. We had a moment of cross canter but were so impressed at how he rose to the occasion and held his own on the biggest stage. Looking forward to tomorrow’s B section handy round- Scout’s specialty! So many thanks to Ana Lisa Carr for her support and making this journey so much fun. What a fun night! HH Eagle Scout and Quentin made their WCHR debut in the $100,000 Hunter Spectacular wherr they finished 11th! So proud of Scout rising to the occasion and excited to keep developing this special horse!
