Living Wells Farm Equine-Assisted Services is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children and adults, including those with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges, through equine-assisted services. Under the ownership and management of the Hoffman and Curley families, Living Wells Farm (LWF) has been in existence providing equine services to the community since

2015. Equine Assisted Services (EAS) is an innovative, experiential approach to mental health treatment. Through horse based activities, clients gain confidence, build trust, and form healthy boundaries. The learning center at LWF offers adaptive horsemanship, equine assisted learning, and equine assisted services for veterans alongside our able-bodied riding program and summer camp.

Meet Mandy, one of our regular lesson students! Mandy is a licensed massage therapist and certified breathwork facilitator. If you spend any amount of time talking with Mandy, you are immediately drawn in by her genuine, caring personality. We are so thrilled that she is part of LWF, and invite you to participate in our next breathwork session!

Equine-assisted therapy offers a unique set of benefits for people of all ages and abilities, especially those with physical, emotional, or developmental challenges. Riding horses improves your balance, coordination, and posture. It requires a lot of focus and attention to the task at hand, which reinforces being mindful and present in the moment. We also know that spending time with animals is a great way to relieve stress!

"No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle." For most of the girls on our show team, horses are a way of life. You can often find them at the barn multiple times a week, cleaning stalls, helping feed, or grooming horses. We love to have a barn full of laughter and noise. We cannot express how proud we are of our team! We had a great show on Saturday .llc with .llc Ana, Abby, Jordyn, Lexi, Tabrea, Katarina, and Cailey worked hard and have progressed so much in the last couple of months!

We shot this video on April Fools day but the weather forecast was no joke. We got dumped on by a foot of snow but we are still extremely hopeful and excited that on April 18th and 19th we will have a blast at our two-day spring camp. 2023 Breakfast with Santa

What a perfect December day for our first ever breakfast with Santa. We want to thank Santa and Mrs. Claus for taking the time to join us during such a busy season for them! This was bigger than Tom Brady joining us a few weeks before the Super Bowl, if you can remember those days! We also want to thank all of the hard working staff and volunteers who helped make this day possible. We want to thank our horses, especially Mr. T and Phoenix, for getting dressed up and into the holiday spirit and making the rounds with their fans. Finally, but not at all least, thank you to all of those that came out and joined in the fun. By doing so, you helped raise much needed funds in order to provide important programs for those struggling with mental health and other disabilities. Merry Christmas from all of us at Living Wells Farm.
