We found a great foster for Daisy-girl and will be keeping everyone updated on her adoption journey!

*Rehome / Foster Needed* Currently located in Okanogan, WA

Miss Daisy is a 4 year old, spayed, Great Pyr, who is incredibly mellow, loves dogs of all sizes, cats, humans, patiently allows baby goats to head butt & use her as a trampoline, and just wants to be a family pet over a fulltime active livestock guardian (she will absolutely abandon the herd to hang out in the house with her people). She's fully potty trained and good on a leash, but is an escape artist if you try to keep her penned up outside.

Please email [email protected] or send us a message if you can foster this lovable fluffy giant or if she sounds like the missing forever piece of your family! πŸ’š

*Update* 320p
We have a temporary foster for a week or so only. Please keep sharing this sweet boy so he can find his forever home!

*🚨URGENT🚨 - WE NEED AT LEAST A FOSTER BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17*

Phineas, of the amazing "OG" F-Pod, finds himself in need of a new home (foster or furever) πŸ’š

He is now a couple months shy of 2 years old, large (tall & lanky), good with other animals (dogs & cats), great with kids, adores cuddles, walks and being with his people.

He's being surrendered back to us because he does suffer from some separation anxiety and needs his people home with him, but his current family works outside the home. They know that he needs a home where his humans are able to spend a majority of their time with him.

If you are able to give this sweet, goofy, love-bug a home, even as a temporary foster, please let us know! We need to find him a place to land ASAP 😒 Email [email protected] or send us a message.

Happy New Year!

Yes, we are still here! 2024 was a year of a lot of growth and a lot of change for our little organization. We had the absolute joy of helping several litters find their furever families, and LOVE being able to continue to share in their journeys and adventures through updates.

Because we are a very small, foster-based, home rescue, our capacity has always been limited but in October, I (Miss Kate) made the decision to sell my current house and buy something a little bit bigger to be able to provide more/better space for our rescues and my family. It meant making the hard choice to stop taking in rescues until we were able to find a new home and get everything set back up again. Thankfully, we are set to close on a new home the middle of January and should have the rescue space ready to go in March.

It has been so incredibly hard to see so many pups in need and not be able to scoop them up ourselves but we are going to focus on growing our foster network in 2025 and expanding our capacity. Please, please, please reach out if you would like to be added to our list of fosters for 2025 πŸ™

Until we are back up and running, we wanted to give everyone who supported us in 2024 a huge THANK YOU. Everything little bit helps from donating a kennel, to hosting events, volunteering at events, providing a play space and socializing opportunities for our pups, cash donations whether they were $1 or $10,000 - it all helps us help the pups and I can tell you that they and their families truly appreciate all of it.

We can't wait to see where this year takes us and meet everyone it will bring into our lives πŸ’š

The H-Pod has fully left the building! πŸ₯°πŸ₯³

Just in time to get settled in before Christmas, πŸŽ„Holly found her furever family! They came all the way from the Westside to meet her and took her home today. We are so happy for Holly and her family, forever grateful to her foster-mama Lisa, and so thankful for everyone who helped support her and us through her journey. We are excited to watch her continue to grow and thrive in her new home πŸ’•

Holly went to the vet today for updated x-rays and a medication consult to see if we could help her symptoms be more manageable. It wasn't her favorite field trip BUT we got some amazing news... πŸ˜ƒ

Through her foster, Lisa's amazing care and efforts, Holly megaesophagus appears to have been a transient case! Although rare, it's not unheard of for megaesophagus to be a secondary condition brought on by something else and once the primary condition is treated, the megaesophagus is able to correct itself! We are waiting on the final confirmation from a specialist but the vet was very optimistic so we had to share!

We're waiting for further review of her full blood panel as well but the signs are pointing to a primary diagnosis of Addisons, which is commonly treated with a once a month steroid injection.

Our sweet Holly will remain categorized as a "special needs" pup but her lifelong care appears to be a little less complicated πŸ’šπŸ’•

She is still looking for her forever home so if you would like to meet her and see if she is the missing piece to your life, please send us a message or email [email protected]

The H-Pod hasn't fully left the building just yet...

Our sweet, amazing Holly is still looking for that perfect forever home. She has been diagnosed with a condition called Megaesophagus, which requires a special feeding regimen and a Bailey Chair so she can sit up. Her super-foster mom reports that she is doing very well and is finally putting on weight and able to keep her food down. Her feedings do take a little extra time but don't let it deter you!

Holly's condition doesn't stop her from living an otherwise normal, happy, active life. She loves playing with her toys, helping foster mom in the yard and cuddling. A good nap in her chair after a meal ranks pretty high as well.

We want to make sure Holly gets the best home for her and are willing to assist with transportation if needed for that perfect match.

Please reach out to her foster, Lisa at [email protected] or Kate at [email protected] with any questions or to arrange a meeting.

Congratulations, Henry and the Withrow family!

They heard about our sweet boy through our favorite friends at Dawg Zoomies and brought their current pair of huskies to meet and approve. Everything went so well and the fur-brothers are already besties πŸ₯° big fur-sis is hoping the two boys will wear each other out and let her rest. Mama and Auntie are over the moon!
