Meet Dakota, aka "Koda"!
This handsome dude is a 2 1/2 year old, kelpie/border collie mix, current on his shots and neutered. He is a sweet gentle love, but he is also an amazing protector. He will never bite but his bark can be intimidating. He loves all ages and is an amazing family dog. He needs a place where he can play and where he is not overwhelmed with so many dogs in the home. His personality is spunky and loving; he’s a big snuggle bug and will be loyal for life. He is great with and without a leash, and comes when called. He loves water but will only get in half way. He does not like cats.

Koda's current home has other dogs that have been with the family for longer and it is just too much for this boy. He does not need to be the only dog in the home, but does need to make sure he has the right canine companion.

We are screening applications for the family but will forward all inquires along to them to make the final decision (after a meet and greet, of course).

We'd say that was a successful event! She spotted Enid early in the event and kept coming back. After taking her to spend some time with the current canine resident, it was a done deal, and Enid got to go home with her new family today! We've already gotten a video showing Enid and her big fur-brother happily bonding and playing.

We are so happy for Enid and the Litchfield family! Congratulations to you all!

Helping set up was exhausting so Enid is taking a little nap to recharge before everyone shows up! We can't wait to see you all at Tails & Ales at 3p today!

Enid (and her adorable faces) can't wait to meet everyone today at Tails & Ales with Ground Control, EarthWise Pet Wenatchee, Firehouse Pet Shop - Wenatchee / Station No.1 and so many other fabulous vendors!

There will be food and treats, and activities for two and four-legged visitors, pet-focused services and volunteer opportunities. 💚🍔🍻🐾

The event is 21+ (sorry, kiddos)

Enid came to work with Miss Kate today and got to explore the Ave during lunch to meet some of our favorite friends! We are so excited to hang with Ground Control on Saturday and Enid was looking quite fabulous in her new harness from Firehouse Pet Shop - Wenatchee / Station No.1 🥰🐾💚

Enid went in for her spay surgery today and is a little sore this evening. She charmed the clinic staff who happily reported that she is incredibly sweet and cuddly, and wants to be around people all the time. She's taken advantage of the extra loves at home as well.

Enid will be at Tails & Ales (hosted by our friends at Ground Control) on Saturday and is absolutely ready to find her forever people!
