PSA FOR DOG OWNERS!!!!
It is again that time of year. July 4th is only two weeks away. All dog owners need to be aware of how their dogs react to loud noises and take the proper precautions to ensure their dogs are properly secured and cared for during this time frame. July 4th is a high time when dogs get frightened and escape their yards. All pet owners please take the steps to ensure your furry friend is taken care of for the holiday season. Thank you.

Regarding the Library Lunch Program: the City was unaware of any problems and was unaware that the program was being cancelled. We are actively seeking solutions and have offered all available resources. We’re committed to helping and supporting Wendell’s Library Board members as they tackle this issue. We’re proud of our Library and all that it offers and hope that the Library Lunch Program can continue. Please keep all comments and criticisms kind and constructive.

In the mean time this information has been provided to us for Wendell families:

Wendell families who are looking for summer lunches, can pick up lunches at the following Gooding sites.

Families cannot pick up meals for anyone other than their children.

The 5-day meal kits will be available to Wendell families beginning June 24th. (We will offer this service through the end of July)...

Families interested in the 5 day meal service can register using the link or QR Code posted on the Gooding Child Nutrition page.

So fun to have all the Wendell Elementary School Kindergarten classes at City Hall today! They visited the library, learned about being good citizens, saw a fire truck and even helped plant a tree!
