This is a honey bee. The pollen on her legs is from dandelions.Her tongue is sticking out due to what killed her that was on the dandelions. It's spring, dandelions are the bees first food. This bee is dead from w**d killer spread on what we see as w**ds, but what nature sees as food. Please don't spray for w**ds until vou see the blackberries blooming. In this area, w**ds, flowers and fruit trees are bees only source of food until midle of June. There are FAR more w**ds than flowers or fruit trees, so it's their only food source. No bees, no food crops for us and we all starve.

I just picked up another swarm today. Things are very busy around the bee yard. it’s a great time of year.

Hi everyone, it is swarm season for the bees. If you come across one in your yard do not freak out. The swarm will not bother you unless you bother it, and even then most are not aggressive. If you have one of these show up and want it removed we can help with that. Please don’t spray them. Bees are a very big part of our plants life cycle. We have removed them from trees, bushes, play ground equipment, and the ground. Most of the time they are not to difficult to deal with We would rather relocate them then see them killed. Below are a few pictures of swarms to give you an idea of what they look like.

We have had a litte excitement this week. We caught two swarms. If you see a cluster of bees like this let us know and we can help remove them for you.

We are entering swarm season as the weather warms up and the flowers are beginning to bloom. You may see a swarm as you are out in your yard. This is a natural thing and the bees are looking for a new home. Either they have out grown their current home or just splitting off from the main hive. If you come across this don’t be alarmed. They are not likely to attack people or pets if left alone.

If you do find yourself with a swarm in your yard or near your home and want it removed we will come out and safely relocated it to a different place. Just text us and we are glad to help.
