PSA- DO NOT LEAVE DOGS IN HOT CARS EVER!
As we head into the hottest months of the year, we want to remind everyone about the dangers of leaving pets in the car. Even with the windows cracked, temperatures can rise rapidly, putting your furry friends at serious risk of heatstroke and dehydration. JUST SAY NO!βοΈπΎ
Happy early 4th of July from our team to you!
We are here until 6pm today if you need to pick-up any meds/food last minute! We are CLOSED tomorrow and will re-open Friday, July 5th @ 8am.
As we gather to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, let's not forget our furry companions! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and calm during the festivities:
π Create a Safe Space: Make sure your pets have a quiet, comfortable place to retreat away from the noise. Leaving the TV or radio on if you won't be home may help block out some of the noise of neighbor's outside activities.
πΆ Keep Them Indoors: Fireworks can be frightening for pets. Keep them indoors and secure windows and doors.
π± Update ID Tags: Ensure your pets' ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case they get scared and run off.
πΎ Avoid Fireworks: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns and trauma.
π Watch the BBQ: Be mindful of what your pets eat. Certain foods can be harmful to them.
Wishing everyone a safe and joyful 4th of July!
In observance of Independence Day, our hospital will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. We will reopen with regular business hours on Friday, July 5th @ 8am.
If your pet needs their anxiety meds refilled please let us know ASAP!
