DOG IN WHITE!
WHAT IS IT? WHY DO WE NEED IT?

Before each level is judged at a MONDIORING TRIAL a Dog and Handler Team demonstrates all the exercises. All competitors must be present for Dog In White for their level. DOG IN WHITE allows the Judge to evaluate their set PROGRAM and each DECOY’S work to determine that it is safe and level appropriate.

During this presentation the competitors (or their representatives) will see and be able to question any aspect of the routine. The HEELING pattern and DEFENSE OF HANDLER scenario will be shown and should be memorized by each competitor. Modifications and additional explanations may be given after the Dog in White at the request of the competitors. This is also the time handlers are given to count the paces for their jumps.

First day of puppy school earlier this week for these guys! 🐶🏫

Hans working on his search exercise for Mondioring 🐕🐕. In a trial he’ll have to search the whole field for the decoy and bark until the handler walks up and directs the decoy to step out of the blind. We’re just putting the pieces together 🤙🏼

New project puppy, Todd, and some of his first full day with me! We’re going to spend our time these first few days relationship building while simultaneously trying to work out what his strongest natural desires are so I can have a baseline for developing our training plan. Other aspects of his routine that we’re focusing on right now are relaxing in the ex-pen, getting comfortable with the harness, potty training, social skills and lots and lots of exposure to new things.
