Due to the severe cold weather expected tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, Border Animal Hospital will be closed for the safety of our clients, patient, and staff. We plan to resume normal business hours on Wednesday, January 22 if the weather allows.

Starting January 1, 2025, the Leptospirosis vaccine will be REQUIRED for all dogs boarding or grooming at our Pet Resort. 🐾
This important vaccine helps protect your pup from a serious bacterial disease that can also affect humans.

Make sure your furry friend is up to date on all required vaccines, including Rabies, Bordetella, DHP, and now Leptospirosis! If you have any questions or need to schedule an appointment, give us a call—we’re happy to help! 💉🐕

Our Story

Border Animal Hospital is a full service small animal hospital. Dr. Tony Vindell, Dr. Noe Cruz, and Dr. Chandani Bhakta are working to service the needs of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. We provide extensive surgery procedures, dental procedures, radiography, ultrasound, laparoscopic, hospitalization, boarding and grooming. The hospital has made available a full line of prescription pet food for dogs and cats. As well as flea, tick and parasite treatments and preventative medications.
