**🐾 The time is almost here!**

These last few weeks have flown by, and soon your fur baby will be home with you 🐶. It’s time to make sure you have everything in order for puppy pick-up day 🏡.

**Things to have at home before pick up:**
• 🏠 Crate
• 🛏️ Bed
• 🍽️ Food
• 💧 Water dish and food dish (high-rise is suggested) (stainless steel)
• 🧸 Toys (noise makers are always a win) … (no small pieces that can be consumed or swallowed) (always throw out broken toys)
• 🦴 Chew toys (soft and hard)
• 🍖 Treats
• 🐕‍🦺 Leash and collar
• 🏷️ ID tag (chip ID tag will be given at pick-up)
• 🔒 Exercise pen or baby gates (puppy should not be roaming the whole house unsupervised)
• 🧼 Grooming supplies (brush daily)

**Important Reminders:**
Puppies should not be crated during the day for more than 3️⃣ hours at a time.

If you will be away longer than that for the first few weeks, please have a designated secured area for your pup. An exercise pen or empty room (like a bathroom or laundry room) is a good idea 🛁.

Make sure the area is free from wires, ropes, cords, any toxic liquid, etc. Food, water, and bedding should be at one part of the room/area, and the potty pad at the other side 🛏️🧻.

**Meal Schedule:**
🍽️ **AM:** 6-8 AM
🍽️ **Midday:** 11-1 PM
🍽️ **PM:** 4-6 PM

⏳ No more water at least 2️⃣ hours prior to bed 💤.

Puppies should stay on 3x meals a day until at least 16 weeks. Water should always be available for your puppy 🚰.

**Important Crate Training Tips:**
• Water should never be placed in the crate 🚫💧.
• Suggested crate time during the day is good to get them accustomed to their sleep area, and this assists with potty training 💤🚽.
• Puppies will come potty pad trained 🧻.

**Take your puppy outside after:**
• 🐾 Playtime
• 🍽️ Meal time
• 💧 Consumed water
• 💤 After they wake up
• 🌞 Morning
• 🌙 Before bed
• 🐕 If sniffing
• ⏰ Every 40-45 minutes for the first week, then gradually increase it.
