This is the horse that caputured our hearts and started us on our path. Pinto Friesian Dutch Warmblood all the way, the best ever!!

This year will mark 14 years since the legendary pinto Friesian Sporthorse stallion 'Nico' was tragically lost in a Christmas Eve barn fire. Nico was an ambassador to the Friesian Sporthorse breed and remains one of the best known Friesian Sporthorses in the world. He was purchased by the Koellas (Hidden Promise Sporthorses) from Witteveen Friesians as a 4-year-old and "the rest is history". His influence within the breed remains, and his offspring include Friesian Sporthorses who've earned Bronze, Silver, and Gold Elite status, Star Mare, USDF All-Breeds National Award winners, High Performance National Champion, Dressage Finals Champion, FSA Inspection & In-hand National Top 10, and Breyer models.
