This is Gravel ~T. Gravel has a 65lb BW, weighed 500 lb on 11/16/24 with an adjusted 205 day weight of 480 lb. He averaged a 2lb/day gain, ranking him #1 in the 2024 bull calf crop here (actually #1 across the board for all 2024 calves). He also had the best horn growth of all the calves at 21-5/16" on 11/16/24 at 215 days of age. Genetic sample shows an 8 on milk.

Diamond Deb produced our best heifer calf of the 2024 calf crop. The calf she raised put on an average daily gain of 1.8 lbs. from birth to weaning. Her bull calf from 2022 was 1st in Youth Class 19, 1st in Open Class 23, Youth Reserve Grand Champion, Open Reserve Junior Champion, and Open Reserve Grand Champion all at the 2023 National Western Stock Show in Denver. "Winnie" did a fantastic job of raising her calf this past year, putting a 2.02 average daily rate of gain on her bull calf. Her Igenity index numbers put her at the top of herd here.

I wasn't expecting to find this calf this morning! Not when the bull didn't go in with the cows until the end of May! Even the vet ultrasounded her and called her for a March calf!

This is Sadie Zee. She was one of the first three heifers we bought when we started. After we started pulling genetics on all the herd, she's the only cow in the herd to score in the Top 25% across the board on the Igenity Maternal Index, Igenity Production Index, and the Igenity Terminal Index. We weighed and measured her on 11-16-24, and she weighed 1324 lbs., measured 70-11/16" tip to tip, and 80-1/2" total horn.
