Rob has been coonhunting his whole life. Tree Rizin’ was created in 1998. We bought Razor Red in 2001 and campaigned him nationally in the hunting circuit with the help of our friend, Alton Key. Razor won National Redbone Days Overall Hunt & Purina Outstanding Redbone of the Year in 2002. He later went on to produce exceptionally. He currently has 55 NITECHs & GRNITECHs. He is the breed’s all time best reproducing hound and will likely carry that title throughout our lifetime. He was truly a dog of a lifetime and his mark will be felt by the redbone breed infinitely. His reproducing resume is not limited to hunting hounds. He has hundreds of show titled hounds and many field and water titled dogs as well.

We keep several stud dogs available at public stud and have frozen semen put up on all of our major winners. All redbone hounds in the kennel go back to the late great Razor Red.

Due to time constraints, we hunt and show limitedly these days, but generally finish 3-5 hounds to NITECH or GRNITECH every year, and Kat shows at a few of the major shows around the country. Additionally, Rob has been named Hunter of the Year and Kat has been named Show Person of the Year by the American Redbone Coonhound Association, and Kat has judged major coonhound events including UKC’s Autumn Oaks, AKC World Show, and PKC Spring Nationals.
