Megan has over 20 yrs of experience with horses, moatly working with horses that were reactive or dangerous. Wonkey Donkey began with Charlie.

His shoulder and neck was used against his riders, which in turn created tension and then anger.

Whew! March came in like a lion and has stayed that way for the Cooper household! I apologize for the wait. My sweet small children have had planned days off and sick days all month. I've got another one home this week. I look forward to restarting next week. Please know I'd rather be playing with your ponies over getting coughed on. 🥴😷

Seeing her relax into the massage was a great way to end my time at the barn today! Looking forward to working with her again next week!

I'm looking for some volunteer horses to do case studies on and finish up my certification.

I'm looking for some horses to do weekly massages on. You'd be signing your horse up for 4 one hour sports massages. I'll be taking notes and will report back on how it went.

Anyone have a pony that needs a massage, or 4?

Hey there!

I'm Megan and I'm here to massage your horse. I have been studying equine sports massage and working on a few of my favorite wonkey donkeys.

Horses have consumed my life in the best way possible. I have been too busy to do other things outside of the barn for as long as I can remember. If I find myself with some free time, you can bet I'm sneaking out to play at the barn.

In my teen years into my twenties, I started young horses and helped rehab trouble horses. I root for the horses labeled "problems" and have since I was young. Some of my personal favorite horses have been the ones no one else wanted to ride. Still today, after 3 kids, and plenty of troubled equine friends, I'll pick the horses with baggage any day. I've found a little time and understanding go a long way in making friends out of angry or troubled ponies.

Equine massage has always made sense to me. I get sore after working hard at the barn, why wouldn't my horses? So I started a course after riding a very special horse named Charlie. I wanted to help him in and out of the saddle. He has been an incredible teacher, guiding me to the spots I need to focus on. Together we have learned a massage a week can help keep him happier and focused on work.

So, here I am, ready to move on and massage all the wonkey donkeys in your life too! My passion for horses and their well being has served me well over the years. Let me help your horse feel his best and lighten the load he carries with him. My work will help your athlete work at his best and keep your pleasure or retired horse comfortable.

Let me know when you'd like me to work on your horse, massages are generally between an hour and ninety minutes.
