🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to you and your furry family members! 🦃

As you prepare for the holiday, keep these Thanksgiving pet safety tips in mind to ensure your pets stay safe and healthy:

🦴 Skip the bones: Turkey bones can splinter and cause serious injuries. Stick to pet-safe treats instead!

🍗 Watch the table scraps: Foods like onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, chocolate, and anything with xylitol are toxic to pets.

🗑️ Secure the trash: Make sure your pets can’t access leftover food or packaging that could be harmful.

🌸 Keep décor out of reach: Festive decorations, like candles or floral arrangements, can pose a danger if chewed or knocked over.

🚶‍♀️ Provide a quiet space: If your pet feels overwhelmed by the holiday excitement, give them a calm and safe place to relax.

🐾 Your pet is part of the family, and we want to help you keep them safe this Thanksgiving! If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.

What do you call a magical dog??

A labracadabror 💫

Happy Halloween!!! Here are just a few of our patients and their families that are joining in on the fall fun!

Trick or Treat!!! Halloween is a time for goodies. Caramel apples, pumpkin donuts, chocolates, and candy corn make for a delicious holiday. It is well known that chocolate can be toxic for our furry friends, but sugary candy can also pose risks for toxicity. Too much sugar can cause stomach upset, excessive thirst, and in severe cases electrolyte changes. If your concerned about a tasty treat your pet has consumed, please reach out to your local DVM or the ASPCA animal poison control for further help.
