I woke up on this last day of 2019, with one word in my mind and one feeling in my heart...

I feel GRATITUDE to each and every one of you for:

Calling your animal companions family members, and treating them with the dignity of relationship, not ownership.

Opening your hearts and minds to better understanding the animals you live with.

Making time for your animal family members to strengthen the bond with them and enrich their lives.

Adopting a homeless animal.

Adopting two homeless animals.

Spaying/neutering your animal companions.

Volunteering!

Stepping up for community cats by learning about or participating in TNR and providing shelter and food to your colonies.

Being a foster parent.

Bottle-feeding orphaned kittens.

Helping find homes for homeless animals.

Working in the animal shelter or elsewhere in the non-profit world.

Using social media to spread the word about what your friends and families can do for animals.

Donating any of your hard-earned money to the organizations that work tirelessly for the safety and welfare of the animals, whether in your community, nationally or globally.

Being a voice for the voiceless in ANY capacity.
