Are you a dog lover? Can you see yourself enjoying free time while getting paid to love and care for pups? If you said yes to this you might be just the person we are looking for to add to our small family business. We are looking to hire a part time position at Herbst Haven Kennels LLC. Listed below are the attributes we are looking for. If you think you have these, we would love to hear from you and have a chat with you! We are looking for someone who is professional, timely, honest, trustworthy, reliable and will take the initiative. Hours are flexible but you must be able to work on weekends.

Duties Include:
Feeding and administering medications (if needed)
Taking each dog out individually for relief times
Walking each dog individually
Playing with each dog individually
Cleaning up after relief time (We are very adamant about keeping things in tip-top shape)
Taking photos and sending them to customers via text
Light cleaning of rooms when they are occupied
Cleaning and sterilization of rooms before and after each stay
Minimum cleaning tasks
Checking in customers
Checking out customers

Herbst Haven Kennels takes pride in our facility and our surrounding land. A maintenance assistant would help ensure that our grounds are exceeding the expectations of our customers and what they expect from us. Listed below are the attributes we are looking for. If you think you have these, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for someone who is hard working, professional, timely, honest, trustworthy, reliable and someone who will take the initiative. Hours are flexible throughout the week depending on what work needs to be done. This is a part time position. Maximum hours per week would be 10 when tasks are needed and required. This is a perfect opportunity for a high school student as we are flexible around school and sports/activity hours. This would also be a great fit for an individual who is looking into a future of construction and landscaping. We are willing to pay the right individual $10.00 per hour.

Tasks Include:
Fall/Spring Clean Up Duties
Landscaping Upkeep
Pulling weeds, raking leaves, shoveling stone, trimming lawn/bushes
Mowing Lawn
Blowing and Shoveling Snow
Light Painting
Light Carpentry Needs

Candidate Must Have:
Ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
Ability to push, pull or lift heavy items (not to exceed 40 lbs)
Ability to work outside in various temperatures

Colleen and Kaylene are back from the Florida sunshine ☀️ They both feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated to spend quality time with all of our HHK visitors.

Ana, Brenna and Keira did a amazing job holding down the fort here at HHK and staying on property while we were away. Obviously we both felt confident that everything was going according and as if Colleen wasn’t on vacation. We had no doubt that our visitors were in capable hands with our HHK girls. They definitely put our mind at ease so that we could enjoy our family time. Thank you everyone who reached out to Kaylene for your patience. She is still playing quite a bit of catch up but as promised she will communicate to everyone by Friday September 20th.

We’re looking forward to finishing out 2024 together!!
