✨ Attention KCC clients! ✨
As most of you know, we only take 4 dogs at a time currently. With that being the case, our schedule fills very quickly!! I wanted to make a little announcement about scheduling and my suggested booking time frame.
🔹If you have one dog, about a month's notice is required to guarantee availability.
🔹More than one dog, about 2 months notice may be needed.
I apologize for any unavailability in advance! We are currently processing how we can expand KCC to accommodate a greater number of dogs. Please be patient as we continue to grow!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our current and past clients for trusting us to provide top notch care of your fur babies!

Memorial Day weekend crew! We had 2 Tuckers and miss Mocha.
Mocha is a sweet little lap dog but don't let her 5 pounds of fluff fool you, she really thinks she's a 25 pound dog and loves to play with the bigger dogs!

Meet Molly and Maggie! 👋
Molly is the bigger black lab, she is 10 months old. Maggie is the little brown baby and she's about 5 months. They both absolutely loved playing with the junior handlers and getting all of their love and attention.
Side note- Does anyone else think Maggie looks exactly like our Ryver when she was little?!

We acquired 3 new friends this past weekend!
🔷Obi and Tano are the blue pitty mixes, Obi is a year and a half old and Miss Tano is 6 months. Fun fact, they both came from Nate's Honor Rescue here in Bradenton! 😁
🔷Nala is our other new friend! She is a Corgi. As you can see she thoroughly enjoyed playing with the mini human.

Meet our 2 newest and youngest boarders!
Aussie is a male Shih Tzu puppy, and Baby girl aka "BG" is a female lab puppy. They both loved everything about KCC, from the other dog action to the junior handlers. These lucky kids even got to take a field trip to the Myakka woods!

We are thrilled with how this area came out! The puppies are really enjoying it too!
The next project will be getting pretty green grass growing again in the main yard. 🌱

Have you ever wondered where our logo came from?
The 3 animals in the KCC logo were inspired by 3 real animals in my life, let me introduce you to them all!
-The Chihuahua is Tula! Tula is the last living "childhood" dog of mine. She's 14 years old and was adopted by my mom at 8 weeks from Safe Hands Rescue in Minnesota.
-The bird is Sugar! Sugar is the cute white Cockatoo parrot you see often on our page. She belongs to my sister Jess and has been with her for the past 5 years or so.
-The big dog in the logo is Costa. Costa is our senior dog. He will be 10 years old next month and is an American Staffordshire Terrier.

The colors of the logo also have some meaning. Our home is painted a teal/light blue color similar to the house on the logo. The pink is my little person touch as hot pink has always been my favorite color!

Meet our one and only kitty boarder, Peter!
Peter spent one day with us for daycare a month ago while him mommy got everything moved into their new home. Well he did absolutely perfect for his daycare day so he came back for a weekend vacation with us! He is a very go with the flow kind of cat and handles everything like the true champ he is.
So thanks to Peter, I may be willing to open up a few spots for some cat boarding! I am going to have to be slightly selective since cats are generally a little more sensitive to new surroundings, people, and other animals. But we all adore kitties and I'm excited to invite a few more into our KCC Family.

It wouldn't be Christmas without some kind of little gift, right?! 🎁 So I put together a few little treat bags for the boarding dogs that will be spending Christmas Eve here at Kayla's Critter Cottage. Hopefully Santa brings another round of treat bags when he stops on Saturday night as well! 🎄🎅🏼

Blueberries just happen to be a favorite treat of most of the pups that visit us at KCC! Have you tried giving your 4-legged friend a blueberry as a treat?!

On today's episode, Ryver got to have 2 friends over for a day of daycare! They are doing a trial run for overnight boarding next week. Safe to say miss Patients and London are having sooo much fun today! At the end of the day, don't we all just want our dogs to be happy and tired?! Well mission accomplished here at KCC! ✅
