Both my husband and I have had our small hobby foster farm in operation for over nine years now. We run our farm on donations of any kind (materials, labor, feed, hay, medical supplies, housing, tools, equipment, etc), boarding fees, our e
ggs sales, sales of baby chicks, ducks, geese, turkeys, the sale of raw goat milk for home crafts and animal usage, and the sale of our baby pygmy goats that we breed once a year. We also welcome any volunteers to come out and help us, and to give people the opportunity to see how running a rescue is fun and rewarding. Give us a call if you would be interested volunteering and giving up a few hours to help us and all the animals and foul living here. Some of the activities are feeding, watering, brushing animals, putting up fencing, mending fencing, bathing animals on the warm/hot days, cleaning coops and cleaning barn stalls and pastures, cutting grass, putting up hay. Perhaps a cool dip in the swimming pool and a BBQ lunch or dinner provided, when all the work is done. We take in any kind of fowl or four legged animal that their owners are no longer able to care for. We ask no questions as to the reason for their decision to foster out, but we do ask for honesty if there are things that we need to know to keep them and other animals and humans safe. In the past and present we have taken in rabbits, horses, donkeys, mules, alpacas, geese, ducks, turkeys, any kind of chickens, potbelly pigs, goats, sheep and cats and dogs, just to name a few of our present residents. We do restrict the right of refusal of any dangerous or contagious bird or animal due to our present population and all the children and their families that come to visit them. We do our best to provide safe and healthy living arrangements to all that live here. Nor will we resale or rehome any, unless permission is given to us. We make this their permanent home until they pass. They have over 20 acres to free range during the day and during the night they are all locked up for their safety. We live on the property, so we are always here to supervisor their safety, health issues and feedings and all their needs which may be required. If you are looking for a forever home for your feathered baby or fury two or four legged baby, please consider us. We do not take in any kind of dogs at this time, due to the large variety of animals that are considered prey animals for dogs. This is for every ones safety and happiness here at all times. We encourage family visits if prescheduled. We realize that your animal has been a very important part of your family and making the decision to rehome can be very traumatizing to all concern and we want to make the transition a positive for all involved. We also do temporary boarding of any kind of animal or bird for a monthly fee. Please consider us in your decision,
