As pet care providers, it is not our place to tell the client when we think it is their dogs “time”. We just have to sit back and help as best we can and that is the hardest part about this job. Life and loss is something you can’t get away from. If you love something, be prepared to let it go and boy do I love this dog. I have been taking care of Maxwell for years even before AWP was established. He is my friend. He is my neighbor and he is my family.
