We are an all-volunteer rescue for horses. (See what Guide Star has to say about CNEER. Guide Star has a database of information about U.S. nonprofit organizations.) We have a wonderful group of volunteers with the same goal in mind, to rescue and rehabilitate horses. Everyone involved at CNEER ensures that all horses rescued are treated with the best possible care. We know what is involved in the

rehabilitation to make them healthy and restore their spirit. We also have learned that we cannot do everything for all horses, but we can do something! One horse at a time, we fight the good fight to restore faith to these magnificent creatures that have been put through great suffering in their lifetime.

So grateful for the gift these horses bestow on us just by running.. you know most think we rescued these horses but in so many ways they rescue us.

Snow shoveling; cleaning stalls early ; clean shavings; filled water buckets; haying; outside water buckets; a.m. feeding; filling bird feeders and totally filled with awe at horses playing in the newly fallen snow!

Just want to say what a wonderful day today was. Every horse was groomed by loving volunteers who made it a total joy kind of a day despite the drizzle and clouds. Instead of the usual below freezing weather for this time of year it rained and was about 50.. so the horses rolled in their blankets and when the rain started they came in looking rather disheveled. and muddy Blankets came off , light currying, wet necks and legs towel dried took place and clean blankets were sized to each beautiful soul in their stalls .There was laughter and talking and hot chocolate and coffee. Thank you Christie, Sari, Olivia, Sonya and Roxann for a fun filled day with horses. (My phone decided to die so I cannot post any pics). See you next year!
