I always pay tribute to “my” pups that have gone over the rainbow bridge. It’s always a gut punch to lose them. I believe in all cases though that they had been elderly and it was their time (not that that makes it easy). This time though….
Beloved Kyra moved outside of my service area in November. That was tough. I really felt that loss in my every day schedule. But Mom had become a friend so I knew I’d see her and get pics.
Last Wednesday Kyra was attacked at her new boarding facility and couldn’t come back from her injuries. Devastating doesn’t begin to explain it. I’m tearing up just typing this. Hug your babies tight. Give them extra love in remembrance of Kyra.
Kyra, I hope you’ve met my Belle and Archer and are chasing squirrels together. I will love you always 💕 🐾 🌈

Obviously an extreme case, but no, you can’t use just anyone to care for your pet. Please do your homework. If you love your pet like family, finding someone to care for them is one of the most important decisions you will make.

Recently received word that this little girl went over the rainbow bridge. I didn’t care for Sadie that long. Had a weekend sitting and a handful of visits. Another one I had to get to trust me…loved spending time with her. Rest easy Sadie girl 💕

I’ve been visiting Leo & Piper for years but this is my first stay. Mom and Dad hate leaving them and I can’t blame them one bit. They are SO good and sweet!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen this handsome older gentleman, Snowy. Mom said he doesn’t walk that well anymore, that in the evening he would probably lay under the holly tree. True to form, he made a beeline. Happy to be caring for him for the next couple of weeks 💙
