1. Make it a Game! 🎾

✅ Stay Inside & Stay Calm – If possible, keep your dog indoors during storms. Your energy matters—stay calm to help them feel secure!

🔒 Secure Your Space – Check fences, doors, and windows to prevent escape if your dog gets spooked by thunder or high winds.

🎵 Block Out the Noise – Play soft music or turn on the TV to help drown out loud sounds. A cozy, familiar space can also help them feel safe.

🆔 Check Their ID – Ensure your dog’s collar and microchip info are up to date in case they get lost.

👜 Pack an Emergency Kit – Include food, water, meds, and comfort items in case of power outages.

We just wrapped up an incredible few days in Tampa for our annual owner's conference, and we’re still feeling the energy! From powerful keynotes to hands-on workshops, this year’s conference was all about growth, connection, and leveling up as business owners.

Pam is our head trainer and has been working with dogs for 16 years. Her passion for canine body language began years ago while observing dogs in a daycare setting, inspiring her to dive deeper into training and behavior modification. As a balanced trainer, she emphasizes positive reinforcement while incorporating fair and effective communication. Known for her creativity and patience, Pam has a natural ability to connect with both dogs and their owners, making training clear, approachable, and rewarding. She specializes in aggression cases, reactivity, and resource guarding, helping dogs and their families build confidence and trust.

Outside of training, Pam enjoys bowling, mini golf, and unwinding at local breweries with friends. She also loves quiet mornings spent fishing or working on puzzles—activities that bring her the same focus and patience she applies to dog training.

Pam’s dog, Connor, is a unique mix of Beagle, Golden Retriever, and Pekingese. When she first adopted him, he struggled with fear aggression and resource guarding, but through patience and training, he has blossomed into a sweet, confident pup with a big personality! Connor’s transformation is a testament to Pam’s dedication and skill, and he continues to be her loyal companion and inspiration.
