• Carefully dry dogs after their swims to remove excess water off of their body
• Help customers understand the best food and nutritional supplements for their dog
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the retail store, pool rooms, garbage removal, and overall facility

"A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.
After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'
'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.
Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.
Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up'.The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveller asked.
'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.'
The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.
After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.
'Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?'
'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in..'
'How about my friend here?' the traveller gestured to the dog.
There should be a bowl by the pump.'
They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveller filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.
When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.
'What do you call this place?' the traveller asked.
This is Heaven,' he answered.
'Well, that's confusing,' the traveller said. 'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'
'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.'
'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?'
'No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.'" Dogs are family ❤

The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone. The coyote gets your dog to chase him and then somewhere in the distance the pack waits for your dog. Then the outcome is tragic as they can & will attack/kill your pets. Just be aware it can happen to your beloved pet.

Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season.

Second only to arthritis, CCL injuries are one of the most common conditions we see when people swim their dogs to us

Damage to cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs) is the second most common orthopedic condition in dogs and surprisingly, nutrition plays a big role.

Update on the phone system: Over the past 2 weeks, we have experienced intermittent phone issues. We are switching providers, but it will take time to port the main number from the old provider, to the new provider. We currently have any incoming phone calls being transferred to a cell phone so there shouldn't be any more trouble reaching someone. If you get Randy's voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP. You can also reach Randy directly on his cell at (646) 510-3422
We apologize to anyone having trouble reaching us the last two weeks. It is very frustrating, but we hope the worst is behind us.

Summer weather is finally set to arrive this weekend. Yay!! The only downside is that with all the rain we’ve had, the mosquitos are going to be nasty! Luckily we’ve got Mosquito Barrier in stock!!

Mosquito Barrier is a garlic based (99.3%), natural way to repel mosquitos, ticks, and fleas from your yard. It is completely safe for dogs. It does a fantastic job, as long as it is applied correctly. It’s one of our best selling items in the spring / summer.

Pick up a bottle and enjoy your back yard this weekend without getting bit up!

We are excited to announce that recreational swims are now available at Natural Healing in the small pool!

Recreational swims are intended for healthy dogs looking to have fun and burn excess energy through the great exercise that swimming provides.

Dogs will not be accompanied by anyone in the water; dog owners are responsible for watching their dog and encouraging their dog's swim from the pool deck.

Dogs must be able to enter and exit the pool on their own (via the stairs) in order to enjoy this swim.

The recreational swim is offered in the small pool only. The cost of the swim is $35 for a 25-minute session.

Drying rooms and towels will be available for all participants, but owners will be responsible for drying thier own dog.

All dogs must have a current vet release (within the last twelve months) to be eligible for this service.

Please call at (630) 483-9843 to book your swim today!

He is looking for a foster, so please reach out to the DuPage Animal Services if you can foster him as he looks for his forever home!
