My sweet old man got some new wheels for Christmas! Oakley has been disabled his whole life, he turns 14 this month and has basically lost independent mobility. He loves to scoot around using various mobility aids, so I figured we’d try a wheelchair! He got the hang of it almost immediately! Today was his 3rd time using it and was scooting around with minimal help! His only frustration seems to be that he can’t lay down whenever he wants so I pay close attention to his comfort levels. After he used the chair for abt 30 mins his legs were warmed up enough to independently run around the field! He did amazing, I’m so so proud of him! 💕🐶

Sometimes I’m walking dogs, sometimes I’m joining them lying on the floor! Senior dogs have my whole heart! Sparky is just the sweetest to let me join him on the floor for a lil nap! 💕🐶

When I first started with this sweet wolfie girl she was so timid and shy. She’s come out of her shell so much! This gentle giant is so wonderful to care for! The other day Rika got the zoomies and it was the most precious sight! I imagined all the wolves out in the woods zooming around! 🥹🐺💕

My pride & joy! 🥰 These two are my biggest accomplishment in life! Oakley & Olive are 13 & 17 years-old! So much of my valuable experience as an animal caregiver came from raising these phenomenal dogs! Oakley had parvo when I got him and as a result lives with C-H. He shouldn’t have seen a year old, and now he’s going on 14! Hes been my reason to get out of bed during very hard times in my life and he’s been there for every single victory as well! Olive is my soul dog, and makes me feel adored every day! She was the greatest gift I’ve ever received from one of my best friends over a decade ago! Our souls are intwined, I’m convinced! Sometimes she’ll try and burrow into me like she wants to be one creature 😂 she’s the closest I’ll ever have to a baby & yet she’s now old enough to have a drivers license! 😳 these two have literal fans in the community & I’m often referred to just as “Oakley and Olive’s mom” which is the thrill of my life! I’m so grateful for everything they’ve taught me! 🐾💕
