😭 Poor Dixie had an approved home, but it just wasn't the right fit. She's the biggest sweetheart! Please share, let's get Dixie, HOME!

🟢 6 years old. She's house trained, already spayed, crate trained, and good with other dogs! Loves water 💧 and is playful!

‼️🏡 Dixie really could use a foster family until her forever finds her. She loves being with people!

❌️ Can guard resources (bones/high value foods) from other dogs. Not cat tested 🐈. Will be placed in a home with no or older kids.

❣️ Hi! My name is Dixie! I'm a 6-year old female bloodhound! I'm a very loving & easygoing girl! I'm also very mannerly! I'm also very playful! I like fetch & ball. When I do something good, I get so excited & playful! For instance, I don't really like the vet to examine my ears, but once they are all done, I'm a happy girl! I jump & I play! But what I love the most are treats & the water! I used to have a splash pad & I loved it! I also love little swimming pools, ponds, rivers & going for boat rides! Really anything that has to do with water! And treats! Don't forget, I LOVE treats! But during the day, I want to hang out in the couch or outside! I would love a fenced in yard so I can hang out outside! I've lived with other dogs, & I do well with them. I need a new home because one of the other dogs in the house picked on me, & I finally got fed up. So now we don't get along. I can be protective of my food & bones with other dogs. I've never lived with cats or other animals. I haven't been raised with children, but I've been around children aged 6-12 years. Because I wasn't raised with children, I will be placed in a home with no children or older children who know how to properly treat a dog. I am already spayed & up-to-date on vaccines. 🗣 🥳 5 days until Beagle Palooza starts! Beagle Palooza is our 2nd biggest fundraiser of the year and raises necessary funds for us to help dogs like Sherlock and Dallas, two brothers who needed neutered, and had NEVER touched grass! They have learned how to be happy, confident doggos-- super ready to be your new bffs. They can go to separate homes! 🐾 🫂 💓

Nov. 1-9 - Beagle Palooza with Greenwood Furnace Dog walk and Smores finale 🔥 🍫

🐾 Our goal is to reach $7,000 raised! These funds will go to replenish our funds after multiple spay/neuters, an upcoming double inguinal hernia fix for Nelly, tumor removals for Wynnie, and continued care for our seniors, like Benji, Smokey and Buford!

Hi! My name is Benny & I'm an adorable 4 month old male beagle mix. I'm a bold & outgoing fellow! I was born on 2/2/2025, so I'll be 5 months old on July 2! I'm mainly brown & black colored! My mom is a beagle - that's Honey, who is also available for adoption, & my dad is unknown breed. But I'm all hound! I'm in a foster home with other dogs & cats, & I'm doing really well! I'm up-to-date on vaccines & will be neutered before I'm adopted. I weighed about 39 lbs. on 6/18/2025.

But the mom is severely allergic to me! Oh no! The mom can't even pet me without having an allergic reaction! I'm such an affectionate fellow! I want a home where I can be petted all the time & loved! I'm such a friendly boy! I'm great with other dogs! I love to play with them! I'm good with cats & birds too! I love to play with my h***y pig too! I love to be physically close to my people, & I really want to sleep under the covers with them! I will p*e when I'm anxious or when I meet someone new. But once I know them, I'm fine. Sometimes I will p*e when I'm walking, & so I wear a belly band. But Nittany Beagle Rescue is making sure I go to the vet & have that checked out. white male beagle! I love to play - but I really love to snuggle & be petted! I will just crawl into your lap! I love belly rubs! I'm a very friendly fellow! I really like to be with people & sometimes I'll cry when I'm left alone. I really like squeaky toys too! I love to go for walks, & I'll put my nose to the ground & go! I'll sing my beautiful beagle howl for you! I must be on-leash or in a securely fenced in yard. I was taken to the shelter when I was nearly 14 months old by a breeder because no one wanted me. The shelter placed me in a home for a while. I slept in bed with my people. I lived with 2 children, a 2-year old & 6-year old. I was fine with the 2-year old, but I would try to take the 6-year old's food. Once I nipped at her while trying to get her food & knocked out her tooth. My bad! So now I'm looking for a new home! I'm a young guy & I really just need some structure & training. A home with no children or older children would be great! I made great progress on housetraining while I was in the home - so it shouldn't take much more to get me where I need to be! I'm already neutered & up-to-date on vaccines! Now I just need my forever home! Please think about making me part of your family!

Hi! My name is Charlotte! I'm a very friendly 6-8 year old female beagle! I've lived with young children & I'm great with them! I'm housetrained & crate trained! When I need to go outside, I'll go to the door. Sometimes I might scratch at it. But it's important to let me out when I need to go outside - I really can't hold it longer. When I first go into the crate, I'll bark for 10-15 minutes. But then I settle down. I like hanging out on the furniture with my people! I also like to sleep in bed with my people at night! I especially like sleeping with the children! I'm a very loving girl! I'm also quite happy & playful! I like to play fetch & ball! I like car rides also! You can secure me with a doggie seatbelt to the back seat, & I'll be fine! I'm living with 2 other big dogs now & I don't really like them. I've never lived with dogs my size, so I don't know how I feel about them. I've never been around cats. I think I would be quite happy being the only dog, though! I weigh about 25 lbs. I'm already up-to-date on vaccines & spayed. Please think about making me part of your family!
