❣️ Adoptable Kona with Nittany Beagle Rescue - Forever wanted❣️
👋 Hi, It’s Kona again! I’ve been with my foster for almost 2 months now. I’m beginning to think my forever family is lost 🥺 Hope they find me soon!
It’s been an eventful couple of weeks. I healed really well from being fixed and no longer have to wear that stupid Kona-Shame. The foster lady noticed I have a racing stripe on my nose. Hopefully, you can see it in my pictures. She thinks that’s what makes me the fastest kiss-giver in town! I’ve learned to like my kennel and sometimes just go into it to lay down. I get treats when I go in - yummy. I really like treats! Sometimes, she locks me in if she’s leaving, but that’s OK now. I get very excited when she gets back and lets me out. I had a few issues with piddling in the house last month, but Lady (that’s what I call my Foster Mom) says she must’ve missed my cues. We’re both back on the same page now, and I haven’t had an accident in weeks. She’s still reinforcing so I stay good. I had a run-in with her older male beagle over food. I went after food on the floor, he thought was his (it wasn’t). We both got scolded, and it’s been good ever since. I also had a brief issue with my one leg not wanting to touch the ground in early August. Stupid leg! The vet checked everything out, and there no issue and no reason to think it would happen again. Lady says I’m just a faker, looking for love and treats ❤️ 😁
Tank and Foster and Lady let me sleep in the bed with them, but I’m really hoping for my own family to sleep with soon. Walking with 3 dogs on leashes gets very confusing and tangly.

❣️ Hi! My name is Kona & I'm an adorable 5-year old female beagle mix! I weigh about 30 lbs. I’ve been with my foster mom for almost two weeks now! She picked me up along with her other two beagles on her way home from a trip. We stopped for a burger treat…yum! We got home and I’ve been a good girl ever since. Didn’t hate my bath too much. Love to walk. Give lotsa kisses. And haven’t had one accident in the house, even woke her up last night because I needed to go out. I get along great with her two male beagles, Tank and Foster. She got me an appointment right away to get fixed. I’m not sure what was broken, but it’s fixed now and I have to wear this stupid cone. She thinks it’s funny and calls it the Kona Shame. I just finished my pain meds last evening and have to wear the cone for one more week. Then I’ll be ready for my forever family to find me and take me home.
