These critical funds will help more dogs like NBR alumni, Marble! Marble was just a sweet baby whose owner faced a horrible diagnosis. NBR was able to be there for Marble and his owner in their unimaginable time of need. We're here to help people and their beloved pets. Marble was neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and now is living his best beagle life with a doggy and little boy bestest friends. We can only continue our mission because of YOUR donations and support. Thank you from our paws to our tails ❤️

Hi! My name is Sherlock & I'm a 1-year old male beagle/lab mix! I'm not that big - maybe about 45 lbs. I'm a happy fellow! I'm also very loving! I really love to be petted & loved & to give kisses! I like to play, especially tug-of-war! I've got lots of puppy in me! I could use training on manners still - I'll jump up on people because I'm so excited when I see them! I need work on housetraining also. I need a new home because my former owner's health is declining & she had so many dogs, that she couldn't take care of all of us. She wanted us to have a better life. On Aug. 10, 2025, I went outside for the 1st time & walked on grass. It was also the first time I wore a collar & had a leash on. Needless to say, I was pretty scared. But I was such a sweetheart through it all! I've really adjusted well to my new life & I LOVE it! I walk great on a leash! I LOVE to sniff the ground for bunnies & moles! I'm meeting lots of new people! I'll need a person who can work with me as I learn about everything! Check me out in my video! I ride great in a car (in a crate for now)! Please think about giving me a home! You will love me, I know! And I will love you! I will be your best buddy! I'm up-to-date on vaccines & neutered & so I'm ready for my forever home!

That's going to let us help more dogs like adoptable Benji, who lived 8 years of his life with undiagnosed diabetes! The poor pup drank water excessively at first, but now that he's on medication, he's doing much better!! He's healthier, happier, and working on some weight loss. **LOST BEAGLE** This dogs name is R.C. Cola. He’s a 10 month old beagle. He called a silver beagle because his coat has a silver shade to the black part he’s a typical beagle tri color of black brown and white. He’s pretty big for a beagle and is a male. He’s went missing Monday nov. 3rd at around 4pm hunting rabbits on Christian ridge road Rockton pa. 15856. Right on the reservoir side but last I heard he may have crossed the road. He is licensed but he lost the tag hunting a few weeks ago I have the paperwork. Got his rabies and other shots from tractor supply.

Ruby Sue, a senior sweetheart who lived in an outdoor pen all her years! Now she's loving couch life.

Molly (tricolor), a dear 4 year old who also had lived outside her whole life!! She enjoys the days playing with her sibling.

I've always lived outside as a hunting dog - but I don't like to hunt! I'm so ready to live in a home & be with my people! I'll need work on housetraining - but I'm very smart & I learn quickly! That's a major dental, 2-3 spay or neuters, nearly a year of boarding for one Rescue pup, continued senior care (we love our seniors, they need extra TLC - read more about 4 of our super seniors below), or nearly 12 intake exams!!

Pictured are our super senior bonded pairs - Penelope & Barnaby.. they were saved by a kind soul in the nick of time! Penelope and Barnaby had dentals, Penelope had a limp we treated, and continued pain management medication. Barnaby was also neutered!

Smokey and Buford had a pet parent who was, unfortunately, terminally ill. They're happily in an amazing foster home, getting TLC, as much outdoor time as they want, and comfy couch time. They have had senior wellness exams, pain management medication, dentals, and continued allergy medication.
