How do I know if I bathed my horse good enough? Well, if they dry with crusty tiger stripes, you did a poor job!

A horse carries the majority of its dust/dirt on the top of their butts, so if you’re not rinsing and scrubbing there, this is what it’ll look like as you body clip! No groom wants to see this for your horse. A clean horse is a happy horse!

Team Somerset had a great weekend Showplace Productions Final Indoor A show for the 2024 season!

Angelina & Tap Dance were blazing fast and double clean in all classes in the Puddle jumpers earning them Reserve CHAMPION in the Division and 2nd in the Puddle Jumper Classic!

Madisyn & Charisma 14 had a stellar weekend winning a Performance Hunter round, the IHJA Junior Medal, and a class of the JR Hunters landing them Reserve CHAMPION in the Division and 2nd in the Junior Hunter Classic!

And last but not least Maddalena & Beaverwood’s Monarch moved up to the Children’s Pony Division and closed out the weekend with a Reserve CHAMPION in the Division AND and a 1ST PLACE finish in the Childrens Pony Classic!

Harrisburg 2023! Team Pony!

Natalie and Sinatra made the trip across the country to close out their successful show season! Sinatra gave us his heart in his first year competing at the 3’ leading him to Win the IHJA Year End Award for the Younger Amateur Hunters and finishing in 65th in the country out of 1288+ horses! At the end of the day, Horses keep us humble! While the Nerves of Nationals is a real thing, Natalie and Sinatra finished strong by continuing with GRIT (the power of passion and perseverance).

We are proud of this team and their successes!

Team Somerset had a great weekend at the Summer Schooling Series Final Horse Show!

Lauren and Piper 💙WON💙 the Mini Medal. This Duo was also 3rd in the Equitation Classic, 6th in the Hunter Classic and 8th in the Hunter Derby out of 28! Way to finish out the season!!

Jessica piloted Lauren’s New horse Vinnie and proved to be very successful! This Duo came home with a 💙WIN💙 in the Hunter Classic, 2nd in the Equitation classic, CHAMPION in the Equitation Division and a 2nd place finish in Hunter Derby by a close .5 point!!

Otherwise you’ll just be scrubbing in dirt when adding soap. 🧼 When soap is added, curry that soap in! 🧼 Don’t forget under the belly, and between their butt cheeks!
