JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Quaid Update: If anyone is new to reading Quaid’s story we rescued him from our local shelter when visiting handing out treats to the animals. Quaid is a senior and unfortunately, contracted a URI at ACCT & quickly took a turn for the worst. He has been hospitalized for a few days now at Penn Hospital and will remain hospitalized until he eats on his own and unfortunately he has been too sick to do so. Quaid is on fluids and nausea medication and his new estimate is $3,200 with already owing Penn over $30,000. Please consider donating as we sometimes dont expect to get hit with such high vet bills but we will do what we need to do for our babies

Blind and deaf, in the shelter, sound asleep.

There is something utterly heartbreaking about seeing Buddy sleeping all alone amidst the chaos that is shelter life.

He really needs a home where he can be with people and feel safe and secure. Buddy loves other dogs and adores people. He lived very successfully in a foster home with other dogs and also learned so many commands from his former foster mom that help him navigate the world.

Though he may be blind and deaf, he can do all the things any other dog can do. He loves hiking and going on adventures, and is an expert snuggle bug.

We hope, with your help, we can find him his perfect home.

WE ARE DESPERATE FOR HELP GETTING SUPPLIES! 😢‼️— we have been on here begging for donations and help with wishlists. But our vet bills are still overflowing, it’s the holidays so we understand it’s harder on people to donate. But we NEED food for our dogs, we need absolutely everything! Our storage unit is completely empty, we have no treats, no food, no bully sticks. Etc … 😩🙏🏼💔 we are asking if anyone can just purchase one small item, we would be very grateful! So that we can use our monetary donations on our vet bills! — We have a transport of dogs coming in from a shelter on Sunday and still DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH items to fulfill what they need in their foster home! Anything will really help us right now!!! 🙏🏼‼️
- We are asked everyday to save a new dog or multiple dogs. People do not understand that not only do they cost thousands in vetting if something is wrong, they need everyday necessities like food, and the items in this list. We have to purchase this for every dog that we save. It’s thousands and thousands of dollars, this is why we are trying to do wishlists as much as possible right now to get help from all of you!

‼️We desperately need puppy food and treats‼️

We are completely out of wet and dry puppy food and soft dog treats! We really need cat food, benebones, collars and hard treats too!
