Please spread the word! Meet my friend Embers! This sweet cat has been in a shelter for almost a full year. She was badly burned and I’m hoping to get these wounds healed using Phovia! I know you're all asking...What is Multi-Modal Pain Management? It's how we address pain in 2023! There are different pain pathways in the body - one medication cannot address all of them! In order to keep a painful animal comfortable we need to attack the pain from all angles! Don't be alarmed if your 13 year old dog is started on 3 different medications, a supplement, exercise plan, diet, and alternative therapies (ie chiropractic, acupuncture). Since they're living longer, we've got to be open to "new" ways of treating. Why do you think they make pill organizers?!

Say HELLO to my pal Jerry! He is a happy 12yr old pup from Massachusetts. He loves long walks, protecting his house from scary pets on strolls, and hiding bones in the yard.
Did you know approximately 40% of dogs have arthritis?! We can’t cure arthritis, but we can manage it with pain medications, exercise, and managing weight. There’s sooo much we can do for our older pets…set up an appointment and I can help your Co-Pilot feel their best!

Spotlight on beautiful Hattie! She is 11 years old & went stand-up paddle boarding for the first time! Let’s change our ways with older pets…teach them new things, let them explore! Got to keep their minds going! Of course, be mindful of their age-related issues- vision, arthritis, so don’t over do it and go slow!

I have finally got it together and ready to see patients at their homes in Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts! I will be offering sick visits and end-of-life care. This started when Roo, my Co-Pilot, was diagnosed with lung cancer and a fracture in her only forelimb. We got to spend another year together with management of her medications & alternative therapy. I hope I can help help more pets and families in the comfort of their home. I am certified in animal hospice & palliative care (IAAHPC) & practice Fear Free medicine. Saying good-bye to a family member should be about honoring your pet and cherishing the memories together. This is my sister and nieces loving on my co-pilot, Roo. My sister was never a dog person until she met Roo. Her kids learned how to respect animals and be in awe of them. Roo was soaking up the attention if you can't tell!

The last moments with your Co-pilot should be sacred and peaceful. I want you and your pet to be comfortable and know you are not alone. No stainless steel tables, over-head paging, or cold rooms. I encourage you to play music, light a candle or use essential oils.
