Milo was not thrilled that he had 8 ticks on him after hiking last weekend. Sooo many different flea/tick preventatives out there- don’t buy on amazon though!
Some repel & protect from mosquitos and biting flies! Also, if you’re hiking…make sure your pup is vaccinated for Leptospirosis & Lyme disease!

This week, Sweet bonk was adopted into a loving family. Having cared for him as a patient, I recommend checking with your local animal control if you are interested in adding a new pet to your family.

This sweet girl is cold! She is living outside with her human. Water bowl keeps freezing, shivering at night. She is the friendliest pup! Please message or text!

Their skin is not as thick as you think, so please protect them. Avoid long periods outside & use coats. Wipe feet with warm wet washcloth when you come indoors, the salt is rough on those toes!

I know, I know…I slack on social media. It’s because I’m busy doing my part. I’ve been told I have strong beliefs. Well, I’m okay with that. I believe that no animal should feel pain or fear. This fall I’ve been giving back. I went to the Dominican to provide vet care with Project Samana. No animal was turned away. How about that! I’m grateful for the amazing humans who shared this trip with me!

Ember’s burn wounds are healing!! She had her 3rd treatment this weekend! Please share so we can get her in a home before she spends another year in the shelter.

Please spread the word! Meet my friend Embers! This sweet cat has been in a shelter for almost a full year. She was badly burned and I’m hoping to get these wounds healed using Phovia! She just finished her second treatment, one more to go!! Thank you to Vetoquinol and Southport Veterinary Center for sharing their product & equipment to get her some relief. She’s available for adoption NOW!

Please keep your pet current on vaccines & places where there are multiple dogs. I’ve gowned up 4 times this week for respiratory cases. No confirmed mystery bug, but lots of sick dogs! See full article here:
