We are a CSA* delivering weekly in West Hartford for 20 weeks during summer/fall 2020 at the Unitarian Meeting House, 50 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.

First delivery will be on June 18, 2020, beginning at 4:00pm. *Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a mutually beneficial partnership where urban consumers receive fresh, nutritious vegetables while helping to sustain the livelihoods and stewardship of regional farmers. In a CSA arrangement the farmer pre-sells “shares” of his or her farm’s upcoming harvest to individuals, families, and instit

utions. Jewish Local Greens shares support the upcoming season at Adamah Farm, Falls Village CT and range in price from $350 for a returning member's every-other-week (12 weeks) share to $720 for a new member's weekly (23 weeks) share. See the website for details about share prices and frequency. This is our SEVENTH season and we expect to add events and opportunities for members to visit the farm. We've added composting through Blue Earth and the farmers have a farmstand selling pickles, jams, and other treats several times a season.

Celebrate the start of Spring next week and swing by the Farm for a bag of veggies. There is not much local food to be had this time of year but between our root cellars and our greenhouses - we've got you covered! The days and hours of the sale will be:
* St. Patrick's Day - 10 am to 4 pm,
* Thursday, March 18th - 10 am to 4 pm,
* Friday, March 19th - 10 am to 4 pm, &
* Saturday, March 20th (the First Day of Spring!) - 10 am to 2 pm

We will have pre-packed Bags ready to go, with 15 pounds of Roots (Carrots, Potatoes, Beets, Turnips, and Sweet Potatoes) and a Jar of Crushed Tomatoes. On top of this we'll have nice menu of options to pick from to fill your bags and get your money's worth.

Some more details:
• Bags will cost $50 for CSA members, $55 for non-CSA members
• Cash or Check only unfortunately - NO credit or debit cards
• This will be another (hopefully last?) COVID-style event. Just drive on down to the back/side of the Barn and Tom, Jesse, Georgia, or Joe will take it from there.
