Not sure why, but Facebook took the recent post down of me thanking everyone for being nominated best in Milford and West Haven, so I’ll post it again perhaps without the link.

If anyone wants to find it, it’s on the Milford and West Haven websites I believe ☺️

But again thank you for the nominations, even though not many shops were nominated, I still appreciate being voted the best out of who were! So thank you so much for the support ❤️

Hello, and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you again for all the support I’ve recieved on this new journey! It’s been so appreciated.

❄️ DECEMBER UPDATE - OPEN 💫

Just want to stop in and say it’s finally happened! Everything has gone through, and I’ve got the all clear from everyone! Please feel free to reach out and message me here, if you’d like to get on the schedule for Xmas. The shop is about 90% set now, and over time it’ll be added to and rounded out/finished hopefully in the next few months, but overall it is entirely functional and operational!

I am very happy and proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish, despite many pitfalls and delays, and couldn’t have done it without the help and support of family, friends, and all the wonderful clients that have been so patient and supportive during this transition!
We did it!👊 🙌

I do also want to take this time to address a few things:

⭐️ New Clients: I will likely be taking new clients! If you are new, or are recommended from a current client, please feel free to reach out (also let me know by who if so!) If I have some availability for the holidays, there may be a small chance I can get you in, but likely it will end up being mid January that I would be able to fit any new clients into the schedule.

⭐️ Pricing: Come January I will also be raising prices. If you’ve been a current client and are in before January, I will 100% honor our old price as a way of saying thank you for much appreciated support! It truly means a lot ☺️ If you’re new, the new prices will apply right away.

A tentative price list will be:

✨ $60+ MD Bath Dog Breeds: Pitbull, Pointer, Boxer, SM Labs

Please feel free to reach out with questions and for specific pricing for your dog if you need clarification, this is a guideline for the time being, as each dog may have some slight variances 🙂 New dogs I may need to see in person to determine what pricing they’d qualify for anyhow.

End of November Update!

Finally have final approval with the town, so clear to set up now and get everything going to have animal control come out and give the final approval! 🙌 Really going to try to get everything set up this coming week, and if all goes well hopefully have animal control out to allow me to open for next weekend! 😱

I’ll keep everyone posted, and if I do get the approval I will of course post here, and start reaching out to everyone, focusing on those who are first priority and have been waiting the longest for haircuts.

Thank you all again for the support, and patience, and perseverance through all of this, I really appreciate it! Finally almost at the finish line and 🤞 maybe even open in time for December 1st ❤️

Sneak peak of the tub room! Getting very close now, so should be able to update everyone and give a more solid idea on when I can start booking in the next week or so hopefully :)

Only needs some final touches and town approval, and then it’s off to the races to get all the equipment and supplies in for animal control to do their final once over!

Then that’ll be it! Very excited to get back into it, and thank you for all of your patience and support ❤️

Just a quick update on the shop. So far it’s getting to final stages, but it still may be several weeks out. Flooring and tiles go in, some electrical and plumbing needs to be finalized, and hvac, painting, and equipment installation still needs to be done. I will also need to move my stuff in, and have the department of agriculture give their final stamp of approval. So, a bit more left than I’d like.

To try to bridge the gap, I’ve been in search of a very short term option to rent a table at another shop, or something like that. so at least some of the bigger kids have an option to get done. But what’s the farthest some of you are willing to travel? Closest I’ve found so far that has an option would be Wallingford (about 27-30 minutes), but I’m still looking for something maybe a bit closer.

Just a bit of an update. Shop is a bit behind schedule with late equipment delivery, town inspections, and being able to get to the next phase dependent on other stages passing inspection and being done on time. So … not the best of news, but it is getting there! Hopefully only a few more weeks, but so much is contingent on so many other things getting done it’s hard to say for sure.

Really hopeful it’ll only be another few weeks, but I’ll try to keep everyone as informed as I can.

Please feel free to message me with any questions, as I know not everyone is able to wait so long, and given it still being summer and some kiddos needing to be kept on a schedule, I understand if you can’t wait so long!

Just a quick update:

So far most of the equipment will be shipped late next week, but the large tub is slated to be shipped beginning of September …. Hopefully going to move forward and attempt to be open without it, around the end of August. Just dependent on if state needs to see it 100% complete before opening or not. Worse case may be looking at the beginning of September.

*Notice for New Clients:*
At this moment my books are still closed for new people. All regular/current clients will take first priority when I open, so for now I can’t say for sure when/if I will be taking new people. If I do so it will be more towards end of September I believe once I’ve settled in and see where I’m at. I’m only one person so unfortunately I do have to be selective, and be careful not to take on more than I’m able to get done within a reasonable time frame.
