Naugatuck Police Seek Information About Kittens Thrown From Moving Car

On July 8th, 2024 at approximately 9:45 AM police received reports that two kittens were thrown from a car driving south in the area of North Church Street / Route 63 by the dam. Police located two kittens, approximately 4 to 5 months old, deceased on the road. Witnesses stated an older white female with white hair was operating a maroon sedan which the kittens were thrown from the driver’s side door. In between this car and the witness’s car, was believed to be a black car that swerved to avoid hitting the kittens. Police are trying to find the driver of this black car to get more information on what they saw.

Our goodest boy, Bobby Bananaz, has gone over the bridge 💔. He was one of the best boys who was the most easiest going pup ever. He was so loved by his family and these pictures illustrate the bond he had with all of them. We are so very sorry to learn of his passing and will remember him forever. Thank you to his family for giving him such a wonderful home full of love and joy. We are eternally grateful 🙏🏻♥️🐾

Please remember no dogs on the beach in West Haven especially in the Sandy Point Bird Sanctuary where there are nesting birds.

💥 PLEASE NO DOGS IN THE SANCTUARY 💥
Just a reminder… there is a city ordinance in place prohibiting dogs on the beach here in West Haven. The Audubon Society have been advocates for keeping the bird sanctuary safe especially during nesting season as well. We all would like to bring our dogs on the beach but we must obey and enforce the rules.

Otto is a great dog. Sure, he has his shortcomings, but who doesn't? His foster parents will admit to theirs, and right after he came into their home, they got engaged and started planning their international wedding. That put Otto's foster parents' push to get their foster dog adopted on the back burner. He was always a part of their family and a foster brother to their forever dog until the worst imaginable happened. They lost their forever dog and the best foster brother to ever exist. At Green Fur Kidz we operate with a very minimal amount of volunteers and when one of us is not advertising the dog within our own home there really isn't anything else the others can do. We are a very small rescue with limited resources and no money to be able to put towards boarding. Please consider donating to this to help Otto have a safe place to lay his head while his foster people are away. If you cannot donate PLEASE SHARE this for it to reach as many people as possible. Good morning friends! We need some help finding Phoebe a home. She is located in West Haven, CT. There is a 10 second video in the comments. Please share 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Foster or forever family needed:

Phoebe is almost 8 and about 10 lbs. Her owner’s health has declined and she is not home much so Phoebe has spent a lot of time alone. Phoebe is very sweet, she's generally calm yet gets very excited to greet adults. She is scared of children and does bark and will run away when she sees them. Car rides she is not fond of as she cries while in the car. We don't think she has ever interacted with any cats so we cannot speak to her behavior around them yet she does not bite and is not aggressive at all. Phoebe gets along with her owner’s niece’s dog well. She is very good on a leash but since being home alone for excessive amounts of time, her bathroom habits have not been too good. She needs someone home to take her out regularly. She needs to have updated vaccinations and be spayed. She is a very sweet girl, very cuddly and calm.

Max is 2 years old, 8lbs, not neutered yet and needs vaccination updates. Likes to play a lot. Listens well when unleashed. Very well trained. Max just has a little strong personality. If he gets attached to you he becomes overprotective of you that's all but very friendly. Good with dogs with cats.
