He was named to The Top 25 Pet People of 2010 along with Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres and Betty White all for their selfless charity work on behalf of animals.

Richie was voted BEST Pet Photographer on Long Island 2013,2014, 2015, 2017, 2019.

He received the 2017 Professional Pet Photographer Award from Society Paws in NYC.
