Florida Silkies In Jacksonville FL- Pick-up Only on live birds. I breed to the SOP (Standard of Perfection) All of my breeding pens consist of breeder or show quality birds.

I breed towards the SOP (Standard of Perfection) on all of my Silkies and Satins. I've spent lots of time and money acquiring the best quality Silkies that are as close to the SOP as I can. Besides my Lavender Silkie pen which is still a work in progress. Silkies have the barbless fur like looking feathers, and Satins have the normal barbed feathers like most other chickens have. They both can be

frizzed and/or showgirls. For the 2023 season I’m offering Silkies or Satins that are around 3-5 months old that I have determined their gender. The ones that I have determined to be female will start at $50+ (average of $75). Males start at 20+. Currently I'm working on the following colors of Silkie and Satins in separate breeding pens: 2 Paint pens (also produces whites and blacks). BBS pen- Black, Blue, and Splash. Lavender with Black Split to lavender- produces lavender and black. I also have a partridge pen that produces the multi-color (tan, red, black) chicks that are in my photos. All pens contain Frizzles and/or Showgirls.

I separate my pens by color and have several different coops! I breed Paint, Splash, Black, Blue, Lavender, and Cuckoo. Sometimes, a random color pops up, like Partridge or White, but I do not have a breeding pen dedicated to those colors.

I'm located in Westside Jacksonville, FL. I'm available for pickup only, no shipping. Transport may be available, but that depends on the transporter's schedule and if you are on their route.

Please text (904) 413-1761 to schedule a time to come. I'm typically available Monday through Friday after 2 p.m. until dark for pick-ups, NOT Saturday or Sunday. All have the correct walnut comb! All have 5 toes on each foot (unless indicated in the description).

For the 2024 season, I'm not offering any unsexed baby chicks. I'm only offering females and males 3+ months old whose gender I have determined by how they look, act, etc. The female prices are $50-$200 each. Males are usually $25 each, but I will occasionally give them away for free with the purchase of a female. I offer a guarantee that if I'm wrong about their gender (which has not happened), you can return her for a refund if the wing band with her ID # has NOT been removed. Thanks

Eleven have the correct number of toes: five on each foot, and one has four on each foot. They all have walnut combs. No, I can not tell their gender. Yes, you have to buy all 12! Yes, they still need heat, even in Florida. At their current age, they need a warm side of 90. They are currently eating Kalmbach 18% Start Right chick feed. There are no refunds after they leave my care. Chicks are fragile and need proper care!

I had a person message me this morning. It makes me so happy 😊 to receive positive feedback like this. That's the whole reason for breeding and sharing Silkies with others. If only more people would be appreciative and less of the negativity that many breeders who do this receive.
