Meet Dot!

Dot may be tiny, but she’s got a heart ready to grow big with someone patient and kind. This sweet long-haired Chihuahua can be shy at first, especially with new people. She may need a couple of meet-and-greets to feel truly safe—but once she does, she becomes a loyal little shadow, greeting you with joyful tail wags and eyes full of warmth.

She’s lovely on leash, content to stroll beside you and take in the world at her own pace. While she’s been relatively quiet in the shelter, it’s possible her personality will blossom even more—including her voice—once she’s comfortable in a home. Her long coat gives her a touch of glamour, but it also means she’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.

Dot is looking for someone who understands that trust takes time—but the reward is a deep, devoted bond and a best friend for life.

Approximate Birth Date - 06/14/2019

Size - Small (7lbs)

Likes - Treats, Cuddles, Short walks to sniff all of the things.

House Training - We are not 100% sure if Dot is fully house trained. Little dogs are notoriously known for having kennel accidents in stressful environments. She does do well keeping her kennel clean with regular walks during the day.

Other dogs - Dot does really well with other dogs as long as they fit with her calmer, more relaxed energy and aren't all up in her business when she's doing her own thing.

Say hello to the sweet as can be Sailor. This precious little guy was found as a stray kitten and brought to the shelter with his siblings. He has an estimated birthdate of 4/30/25, so he's about 9 weeks old. Sailor is the sweetest boy around and almost never stops purring. This little couch lion adores people and other kitties, and he loves to be in the mix of everything and get as much attention as possible. This sweet boy is running loose in our kitten room with several other kittens and he is having the time of his life! This little cutie would LOVE to be adopted with another kitten. Small kittens do best in pairs and no one can play with a kitten the way another kitten can! Kittens raised in pairs are happier, more well adjusted and have less behavioral problems. Plus you're saving two lives instead of one! And trust us, no one wants a single Kittenzilla in their home! This little sweetheart would do well in any home setting, and would do just fine with other kitties or cat friendly and gentle dogs. Sailor would love to have kids to play with as well. Just remember that this tiny baby must be protected in order to keep him from being stepped or sat on, mishandled by children, or injured by larger animals. Would you like to meet the sweet Sailor and hopefully another kitten too? If so, please complete an application and once approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet!

This tiny little lady is Summer. This precious little girl was found as a sick, stray kitten and brought to the shelter for help finding her wonderful forever home. Summer has an estimated birthdate of 4/23/25, so she's about 10 weeks old. Sweet Summer is a laid back girl who does a lot of observing of the other kittens. She thinks about things before just jumping in like the other kitties. She LOVES watching the other kitties play, and then when the time is right, she pounces right into the middle of the action. Summer is running loose in our kitten room with several other kittens and she is having so much fun! This little cutie would LOVE to be adopted with another kitten. Small kittens do best in pairs and no one can play with a kitten the way another kitten can! Kittens raised in pairs are happier, more well adjusted and have less behavorial problems. Meet Jaxon.

Jaxon is a bright, loyal pup who’s always ready to learn and eager to please. He’s got a knack for picking up routines quickly and flashes those irresistible puppy-dog eyes whenever there’s a treat in sight. We’re not sure yet if he’s fully house-trained, but with his sharp mind and some consistency, he’s likely to catch on in no time.

He walks beautifully on a leash and takes his toy time very seriously. He's happiest when he’s got a toy by his side. Because he can be a little protective of his toys, Jaxon would do best in a home without small children. We’d love to see him with someone who has experience with German Shepherds and understands how to support and bring out the best in this clever guy.
J
axon’s the kind of companion who thrives with patience, structure, and a little room to show off just how special he is.

Approximate Birth Date - 12/18/2023

Size - Large (65lbs)

Likes - Fetch, Long walks, Butt scratches.

House Training - Jaxon has been having some trouble keeping his kennel clean since arriving with us. That could be due to stress of the shelter environment. He’s an incredibly smart boy and I do believe he will do very well with house training if he’s not fully house trained already.

Other dogs - Jaxon has yet to be dog tested since arriving at our facility but we will update with that information asap!
