Meet Daisy!

This gentle giant is ready to find her forever home! If you’re looking for a calm girl that has a big heart with a love for the outdoors, Daisy is your gal!

Since arriving at our shelter, Daisy was a bit shy and slow to open up but once she did, we were blown away by how delightful she is! She’s won over every person she’s met here with those sweet brown eyes! Here are a few facts about our big girl Daisy

Age - 5 years
Size - Large (72lbs)

Likes - Stuffed toys, Hot dogs, Back scratches, Couch cuddles, Soft beds and being outdoors!

Leash manners - Daisy is a calm, slow moving gal that loves to stroll alongside you on walks.

House training - Daisy keeps her kennel spotless day and night! So transitioning into home life should be a breeze for this girl.

Other dogs - Daisy has met a few other dogs since arriving at our shelter and although a bit indifferent (Sniffing the ground was FAR more interesting!) she does like to play with dogs that have a similar temperament!

Meet Serrano!

This sweet girl is looking for a human best friend! She loves being with her humans so much that her ideal home would need to have someone home most, if not all of the day to help work through her separation anxiety. She’s a super sweet gal with a zest for life and a huge love of all things squeaky and very treat motivated, which makes training a breeze! This girl has mastered the art of the perfect sit. Smart, loving and a joy to be around. Everyone that meets her falls in love.

Here’s some facts about our girl Serrano.

Age - 3 years

Size - Medium (35lbs)

Likes - Squeaky toys, Cuddles, Chin scratches, Head massages, ANY affection & love from her human.

Other dogs - Serrano has met other dogs here at the shelter and it appears that she hasn't had a lot of dog socialization as she doesn’t seem to know about butt sniffing/proper greetings. We think she could do fine in a home with a dog given the right fit personality wise.

House Training - Serrano keeps a clean space throughout the day with regular walks and only has accidents overnight. We think this is somewhat due to the seperation anxiety she experiences when she’s alone and also the longer wait. With a proper routine and time commitment to working on house training, we’re sure she’ll pick things up quickly!

With her human, Serrano is a calm, sweet, mild mannered girl that enjoys lounging on her bed and being held like a baby.

Meet Clove!

Clove has an estimated birthday of 9/1/2020 and is the sweetest soul. This girl LOVES to go hiking, play fetch, dig in the garden and any other fun activity you can imagine! Her personality is full of joy, sweetness and fun with a little bit of sass (which only makes her better in our opinion!) Her loving foster family can't say enough about what a joy she is to have in their lives. Here's a few facts about our girl Clove.

Other dogs - Clove is currently living with another dog in her foster home and we think that having a doggo friend would make adjusting to a new setting go even smoother for this gal!

Likes - Hiking, running around in the backyard & Park adventures! Since Clove is an active girl, she would prefer a backyard so she'd have space to run, play and get those wiggles out.

Clove is housetrained and is doing really well at letting her foster mom know when she needs to go outside to potty.

About Me: Hey there, I’m Caspian! I’m a fun-loving, energetic terrier mix who loves making new friends. I was found wandering alone, but a kind police officer brought me to this awesome shelter. Since then, I’ve been living my best life and learning so much!

Personality: I’m a bit of a goofball with a lot of energy to burn. I love taking multiple walks a day and playing outside. I’m currently in the Fresh Start Prison Training Program, where I’m learning all the important things like leash walking and crate training. I’m super smart and treat-motivated, so training with me is a blast!

Looking For: I’m searching for an active human who loves outdoor adventures as much as I do. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or trips to the park, I’m up for it all! I also enjoy puzzle toys and snuffle mats to keep my mind sharp. I might need a little time to adjust to housetraining in my new home, but I’m working hard on it.

Fun Fact: I’ve met a few dogs here at the shelter and even have a doggy roommate at the Prison Program. So, if you have another canine friend, I’d love to meet them!

Hey there I'm Bubba aka Bubba Dewey.

Bubba because that's the name I came with and Dewey because I have double dew claws. Have you ever heard of such a thing? I think it makes me quite unique. I have an estimated birthdate of July 2021. I do have a bit of separation anxiety and I can be vocal about it. I calm down soon enough, but might not be well suited for apartment life.

I'm an outdoorsy kind of guy. I love to romp and wrestle in the back yard with the other dogs especially fellow foster Phil. He's my BFF! We are two pees in a pod and often times two dogs in a crate. Oh, we have our own crates, but sometimes we like to cuddle. I am also a sun worshiper. I will be the last dog in on a sunny day.

I'm housebroken and really good in my crate.. That's where I sleep at night, but if I had my way I would be sleeping in your bed. I think that might have something to do with why I am crated at night. Once I wasn't and the human woke up to find us sharing a pillow. I don't see a problem with that so added bonus if you're looking for a snuggle buddy.

I need some work on my leash manners, but other than that I am dang near perfect. I'm very treat motivated so training should be a snap.

My ideal home would be one with a canine sibling and toys, Lots and lots of toys. I would do best in a home with older kids. I wouldn't want to confuse my toys with the little people toys or worse them think my toys were theirs!

This Gorgeous girl is Gigi and she has a heart full of love! A favorite of our volunteers, Gigi is the best all around doggo. Loves the park? Check! Loves cuddles? Check! Treat motivated? Check! Keeps her kennel spotless? Check!

Most days, Gigi can be found lounging in the grass in front of our shelter being loved on and enjoying the sun! She will snuggle up to your legs for cuddles the moment she sees you! While Gigi is quite the lovebug, Keep in mind, most dogs are nervous around new people and it may take some time for her to warm up but don’t let that deter you! Gigi is the sweetest gal around and worth the wait! Here's some facts about our lovely girl, Gigi.

Meet Blue: Your Future Best Friend!

Hello there! My name is Blue and I have an estimated birthdate of 1/1/2023, and I have also been told that I am an incredibly cute terrier mix!! I currently weigh a healthy and robust 56 lbs, but don’t let that fool you—I’m smaller in stature than you might think! Everyone here tells me I’m the cutest, and I have to agree with them?

My journey to this place has been full of ups and downs. Before coming here, I lived at another place similar to this one. A really amazing person adopted me, and we both thought it would be forever. Unfortunately, forever was cut way too short when my previous owner passed away shortly after adopting me. But don’t worry, this place has been taking such good care of me since then, and I have so many humans who love me, and I love them back!

They all ask me almost daily, “Blue, why are you still here, buddy?” And I just don’t have the answer. Let me tell you a little about what makes me an awesome companion:

Loyalty: When I know you, I love you with everything that I am.

Friendly: I really enjoy all the human friends I’ve made since arriving. I get to go on lots of walks, trips to the outdoor fenced-in dog run, and one of the amazing vet techs takes me to the local park almost every day for her lunch. We walk and walk, and she tells everyone how well I do there. While there we stroll along the bank of the water and I really love it. The water is so refreshing on my toe beans!

Car Rides: I even do wonderfully in the car on the ride to and from the park.

Tidy: I love to keep my kennel nice and tidy as long as I am walked regularly. So, I’m pretty sure I will transition quickly to a new home and house training. I was crate trained in my previous home.

Playful: I love to play with toys! It doesn’t matter what kind, but I especially love anything that makes noise. If I could lay in a big comfy bed with a pile of my favorite toys surrounding me, that would be a little slice of heaven!

Even though I’m a pro at my routine here, I am an anxiety warrior. I take daily medicine for anxiety because this place can be a lot for a dog like me, and the medicine helps me get through the day-to-day hustle and bustle of it all.

I think my perfect match would be someone who has a lot of energy like I do. Someone who is active and can take me to the park, on walks, and play with me daily would be so awesome! I am very smart and treat-motivated. I already know sit, down, and off. I would love to learn more with my future family so I can show off just how smart I truly am.
