I’m so grateful to have the experience and honor of representing Draper as their First Attendant 2024! This journey will be filled with fun and lots of learning, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible people around me, pushing me out of my comfort zone. I want to express my deepest appreciation to my amazing support team for always encouraging me and showing me that I can achieve things I once thought were impossible.

I’m also very excited to spend the summer with these two amazing girls. We’re going to create so many wonderful experiences and stories together. I’m thrilled for this opportunity and what lies ahead in the future.

A special thank you to Katie Ovard Smith for making all of this possible for me and so many other girls. Your hard work and dedication have meant the world to us.

The start of a new tradition!!❤️

Nutmeg's journey this weekend has been nothing short of remarkable. Under the guidance of the incredible clinician Jeremy Watt, we embarked on an adventure that tested our skills and bonds in ways we couldn't have predicted.

The first day was all about groundwork, and Nutmeg shone brilliantly. Her focus, responsiveness, and willingness to learn were truly phenomenal.

On the second day, we ventured onto a trail filled with challenges – puddles to wade through and steep, rocky terrain to conquer. Nutmeg's surefootedness and enthusiasm turned what could have been intimidating obstacles into thrilling conquests.

However, it was on the third day that things took an unexpected turn. I won't delve into the details out of respect for the involved parties' privacy, but an unfortunate incident occurred, and someone needed urgent medical assistance. The search for the missing horse in rugged terrain was a daunting task. We navigated hills, cactuses, sage, and thick brush.

In the midst of this chaos, Nutmeg continued to amaze. I asked her to separate from her companion and navigate a challenging gully, which she did with grace and confidence. Her ability to stay calm and collected during a crisis was awe-inspiring.

Nutmeg, at just 2 1/2 years old, has proven herself not only as a fun-loving trail companion but also as a dependable partner in the face of adversity. This weekend has shown me the true depth of her potential and the strength of our bond.

I'm beyond proud of Nutmeg and immensely grateful for Jeremy Watt's expert guidance throughout this unforgettable journey. 🐴❤️
