🌟To celebrate Veterinary Nurses/Technicians Week, we will be spotlighting our wonderful team of Nurses here!🌟

Next we have Katie!

Katie joined our team back in August 2019. She is a proud 2012 graduate of the Purdue Veterinary Technology program. Katie has dedicated eleven years to emergency and critical care, before coming to our clinic full time. Katie truly values the close relationships she’s built with our pets and pet owners here at PVP.

Her commitment to our furry friends doesn't stop there—she also became Fear Free certified in 2019, ensuring our more anxious patients receive the extra care and attention they deserve. 🐾

At home, Katie shares her life with three dogs—Kato, Paisley, and Sophia. In her free time, she can be found reading or spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Katie is always a rock star at the clinic and we are so lucky to have her ❤️

Next, we have Jen!

With 17 years as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) under her belt, Jen is back in action after a few years as a dedicated stay-at-home mom to her two wonderful girls, Emma and Eleanor.💖 Now, she’s back full-time, sharing her passion for animal care with all of us at PVP! 🐾

When she’s not at the clinic, Jen is a proud cat mom to her mischievous duo, Finn and Theo. 🐱💙🐱💚 She loves those spicy little furballs and can’t wait to share more of her adventures in veterinary nursing!

Join us in celebrating Jen and all the hard work she does for our furry friends!

🌟To celebrate Veterinary Nurses/Technicians Week, we will be spotlighting our wonderful team of Nurses here!🌟

Next, we have Crystal!

Crystal has been with PVP for about 320 weeks (yes, she keeps track in weeks lol). You will find her all over the clinic, but her main role is Veterinary Nurse. What she enjoys the most is meeting friends (who love their animals as much as she does), and considers them all more than just pet owners. Her second favorite part is the team that she works with. All of the amazing ladies she works with day in and day out make the days in Vet Med worth it to her. She spent the first 18 years of this career in large animal, but has transitioned perfectly over to small animal, for a total of 25 years 😳 (some are more spicy than the large animals, though 😉).

When she is not at the clinic, you can find her in KY on the family cow farm or with her wife. They share a furry family of cats; Reese, Barley, Smudge, and Tony Mohawk, as well as a dog, Tully J Creed (who is a frequent helper at the receptionist desk 🐶). They love to go camping, work on the garden, and just being outside in general.

Crystal is such an integral part of our team and we wouldn't know what we would do without her! 💕

To kick off the week, here is Brenda!

Brenda has been a RVN for almost 20 years, serving the Pets and Vets owners and pets for 11 of those years. She has enjoyed building relationships with everyone along the way, and being apart of the pets' lives! Being a mom keeps her super busy outside of the clinic, but she also enjoys running, baking, and beekeeping in her free time. She says Happy Vet Tech/Nurses week to her fellow techs!

You will typically see Brenda in the clinic on Saturdays and she ROCKS it. We love having her as part of our team!
