Dear Playgroup and Dog Park Members,

We are reaching out to all our playgroup and daycare members, as we have heard reports in the community of dogs experiencing cough and respiratory symptoms. While we've not yet experienced this in our facility at this time, we are asking all of our members to follow the quarantine protocol below, until further notice.

If your dog has done any of the following at ANOTHER FACILITY in the last week, please DO NOT attend Playgroups & Daycare until you have observed your dog for at least 7 days. This is generally the length of time that symptoms will arise after exposure.
Daycare

• Boarding
• Grooming
• Group Play / Dog Park visit
• Training Classes
• Swimming pool event

With your help we hope to stop the spread of this cough early on and not have to close our playgroups and/or alter our boarding kennel availability. While we do require the Bordetella vaccine, we do wish to remind everyone that despite having vaccinations such as Bordetella, dogs can still get sick from a virus or bacteria that we simply cannot vaccinate for (like colds in people).

Any dog having received care for a cough should not resume the above activities for at least 10 days after all symptoms have resolved, even if on antibiotics.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us, we would be happy to answer them. We appreciate everyone’s help and diligence during this time.
