The barn heard Amy is on vacation and I’m running this show alone this week 🫣😵‍💫🫠 One door kicked off hinges, both equines squished into a 8x8 mini stall, two divider boards fully taken out in another place, the house tenant’s cat got chased off last night and was missing, I found him and he’s hurt, and I had only been at work for 2 hours. We don’t just say our school horses are worth their weight in gold, we TREAT them like they ARE.

Did one of them break a splint bone that is now irritating his suspensory tendon as its healing? YES

Did we opt to go the surgical route because of its high likelihood of success? YES

Is said school horse 26 years old? Also YES but he is still tearing around Starter like a teenager and this will give him the opportunity to continue that.
