Update on the Northwest Naturals Avian flu situation:
“The FDA’s audit did not contain any findings related to H5N1 or Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), and the FDA did not identify the source of the alleged contamination found in the opened bag of our product. Upon the completion of FDA’s audit, we updated the status of our voluntary recall with ODA to “closed” and the recall has since been terminated.”

We are now open for business today! Side streets were a little slushy, but the main roads are clear. Be careful if you’re coming down the hill, though. Not sure how passable those roads are.

Due to the inclement weather conditions this morning, we’ve made the decision to keep the store closed until it is safer to travel. Hopefully, we’ll be able to open later today.

I finally made it to the store today and will open until it’s safe to go home. I’d advise you to take extreme caution if you plan on going out. Only visit us if you can walk to the store or after it melts a bit. The roads are covered and there a ton of cars attempting to go about their business. Stay safe everyone!

Hello fellow pet lovers! Just wanted to let you know that we’ve made the decision to stay closed today, Wednesday the 17th. Even though the temps are above freezing and the ice is starting to thaw, the side roads are just too slick to navigate right now. We will plan to open up again tomorrow at 10am. Stay safe!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we will be open for a few hours today starting at 12 noon. If you feel comfortable coming in today, let Carol know how awesome she is for walking to the store to open up and make sure all of our customer’s furry friends aren’t without food. 🙂
