Sadly so many of the signs that dogs use to communicate that they are uncomfortable are easily missed if you don't know what to look for. This is often the cause of "unprovoked" bites.

What a difference 3 weeks make! These lovely pups are growing nicely and several are still looking for their forever families! Getting to watch our furry patients grow and helping keep them healthy always warms our hearts 💕

Who doesn't love a pile of puppies! These cutie-pies are 6 weeks old. They are all tuckered out from their exams and 1st set of vaccines! It's going to be such fun to see how they've grown when we go out for their 2nd set!

Even with summer starting to wind down (though the current temperature doesn't agree)- fleas and ticks are still very active!

Had a great day doing 2nd puppy exams and vaccines on a litter of adorable Great Danes! Spending time with our patients' people is always fun too. If anyone is looking for a new best friend one of these cuties is still available!

Definitely a good reason (amongst many) for crate training! Crate training gives your dog their own safe space, and prevents them from finding naughty things to get in troubpe with.
