Hi, I’m Jack, and I might just be the most overlooked dog at the shelter. I arrived here as a homeless pup on September 3rd after being found as a stray. Throughout my stay, I've watched countless dogs come and go, finding homes or joining rescues, but I’ve kept my spirit strong and my tail wagging. I’m proud to say I’ve stayed healthy, I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and best of all—I’m heartworm negative!
I love my time in the playgroups and cherish the attention from the dog walkers, especially on Wednesdays and Fridays when I get to stretch my legs and explore. Today was photo day, and although I've had my picture taken many times before, I made sure to be extra cooperative this time. I hope these new photos capture my personality and help me finally find my forever home. I’m just a good boy waiting for that special someone to see me. Could it be you?

OWNER FOUND!!!!!!

Hey there, I’m Beryl, a big-hearted Rottweiler with plenty of love to share! I just celebrated my 3rd birthday on November 6, 2024, right here at the West Memphis Animal Shelter. My journey has been quite an adventure—I originally came from the Memphis Animal Shelter back in November 2023. At that time, I was neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped, and soon after, I found myself in a new home.
But life took an unexpected turn, and here I am again, homeless as of November 2024. Even though I’m microchipped, no one came to claim me this time. The good news is, the shelter staff think I’m pretty great. They say I’m a huge guy with a big heart and lots of love to give.
They say third time’s a charm, so I’m really hoping that my next home will be my true, forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to fill your life with love, come meet me!

Hey everyone, I’m Chico! My journey’s been a little bumpy, but I’m still here, full of energy and ready for my next adventure. I first became homeless in late August 2024 when my elderly owner, who loved me dearly, just couldn’t keep up with my energy. At 9 months old, I was a bit too much for a senior to handle, so I was surrendered to find a new home.
A lovely lady adopted me, and for just over five weeks, I was part of her family. But, as it turns out, I was still more than she could manage.
Now, I’m 11 months old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and full of playful energy. I’m a rambunctious boy who’s eager to have a job or a purpose—I thrive on staying busy. I had a blast during photo day; I’m attentive, strikingly handsome, and always eager to please.
If you’re looking for an energetic companion and can give me the structure I need, come visit me. Just know I’m a handful—but with the right person and the right tasks, we could be a perfect match!

Jasper is compact, weighing approximately 24 pounds. He is a little terrier mix and about 10 months old. Jasper is heartworm negative. He loves being around other dogs and does not seem to be too interested in cats.
