Our first snow day of the season today!!☃️

Please remember, dogs paw pads are very sensitive! 🥶

🌨️When walking in the winter, try to keep your dog off of treated areas! Road salt and de-icers can burn paws and cause stomach upset if licked off.

🌨️Dogs can also get injuries to paw pad’s as well as Frost Bite! Ice and frozen ground can cause cuts, irritation, and discomfort. Ears, paws, and tails are especially vulnerable in freezing temps.

Here’s a few tips to keep your pups safe this winter:
❄️Keep walks shorter on frigid days
❄️Wipe or rinse paws after every walk
❄️Use paw balm or boots for protection
❄️Dress short-haired pups in a cozy coat
❄️Avoid heavily salted roads when possible

Devon’s Pet Care is looking for a dependable, animal-loving person to join our team for the busy holiday and winter season! This is a great fit for someone with a flexible schedule who enjoys spending time with dogs and cats.

Position: Seasonal Overnight Pet Sitter & Daily Dog Walker

Requirements:
🐶 Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
🐾 Prior experience with pets (personal or professional) preferred
🐕 Comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes
🕓 Reliable, responsible, and good at communication
🏠 Must be comfortable staying overnight in clients’ homes
📅 Flexible schedule — mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

💵 Pay is commission-based per job.
This position does not offer a steady or guaranteed income, so it’s ideal for someone looking to earn extra money on the side doing something they love.

✨ This position is seasonal, but may turn into a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate!

🚫September 13th is fully blocked off for Devon & Hannah, so we can celebrate our little assistants first birthday 🥳
